Version
Psalm 84:1-7

84 O LORD of Hosts, how lovely are Your Tabernacles!

My soul longs, indeed, and fainted for the courts of the LORD! My heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God!

Indeed, the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for her; where she may lay her young by Your altars, O LORD of Hosts, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in Your House. They will ever praise You. Selah.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are Your ways.

They, going through the valley of Baca, make wells therein. The rain also covers the pools.

They go from strength to strength, until every one appears before God in Zion.

Jeremiah 14:1-6

14 The Word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought.

“Judah has mourned, and its gates are desolate. They have been brought to heaviness, to the ground, and the cry of Jerusalem goes up.

“And their nobles have sent their inferiors to the water, who came to the wells and found no water. They returned with their vessels empty. They were ashamed and confounded and covered their heads.

“For the ground was destroyed because there was no rain on the Earth. The plowmen were ashamed, covering their heads.

“Yea, the deer also calved in the field, and left it, because there was no grass.

“And the wild donkeys stood in the high places and drew in their wind like dragons. Their eyes failed because there was no grass.”

Luke 1:46-55

46 Then Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord.

47 “And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

48 “For He has looked on the poor degree of His servant. For behold, from now on all ages shall call me blessed.

49 “Because He Who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name.

50 “And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him.

51 “He Who showed strength with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52 “He has put down the mighty from their seats and exalted those of low degree.

53 “He has filled the hungry with good things and sent away the rich empty.

54 “He has upheld Israel, His servant, to be mindful of His mercy,

55 “(as He has spoken to our fathers – that is, to Abraham and his seed) forever.”
