Psalm 89:1-4

89 I will sing the mercies of the LORD forever. With my mouth I will declare Your truth from generation to generation.

For I said, “Mercy shall be set up forever. Your truth shall You establish in the very heavens.

“I have made a covenant with My Chosen. I have sworn to David My servant,

“‘Your Seed will I establish forever and set up your Throne from generation to generation.’” Selah.

Psalm 89:19-26

19 You spoke, then, in a vision to Your holy one, and said, “I have laid help upon one who is mighty. I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

20 “I have found David, My servant. With My holy oil have I anointed him.

21 “Therefore, My hand shall be established with him and My arm shall strengthen him.

22 “The enemy shall not oppress him, nor shall the wicked hurt him.

23 “But I will destroy his foes before his face and plague those who hate him.

24 “My truth also, and My mercy, shall be with him; and in My Name shall his horn be exalted.

25 “I will also set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the floods.

26 “He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’

2 Samuel 6:12-19

12 And someone told King David, saying, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he has, because of the Ark of God.” Therefore, David went and brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom into the City of David with gladness.

13 And when those who bore the Ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he offered an ox and a fat beast.

14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might and was girded with a linen ephod.

15 So David and all the House of Israel brought the Ark of the LORD with shouting and sound of trumpet.

16 And as the Ark of the LORD came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leap and dance before the LORD. And she despised him in her heart.

17 And when they had brought in the Ark of the LORD, they set it in its place, in the midst of the Tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered Burnt Offerings, and Peace Offerings before the LORD.

18 And as soon as David had finished offering Burnt Offerings and Peace Offerings, he blessed the people in the Name of the LORD of Hosts,

19 and gave among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, to the women as well as the men, to everyone, a cake of bread and a piece of flesh and a bottle. So, all the people departed, each one to his house.

Hebrews 1:5-14

For to which of the angels has He said at any time, “You are My Son. This day I begat You.”? And again, “I will be His Father, and He shall be My Son.”?

And again, when He brings in His first begotten Son into the world, He says, “And let all the angels of God worship Him.”

And of the angels, He says, “He makes the spirits His messengers, and His ministers a flame of fire.”

But to the Son, He says, “O God, Your throne is forever and ever. The scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.

“You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Therefore God - even Your God - has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your associates.”10 And, “You, Lord, established the Earth in the beginning. And the heavens are the works of Your hands.

11 “They shall perish, but You remain. And they all shall grow old, as does a garment.

12 “And as a cloak, You shall fold them up. And they shall be changed. But You are the same. And Your years shall not fail.”

13 Also, to which of the angels has He said at any time, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for the sakes of those who shall be heirs of salvation?
