Psalm 67

67 1 A prayer of the Church to obtain the favor of God and to be lightened with his countenance. 2 To the end that his way and judgment may be known throughout the earth. 7 And finally is declared the kingdom of God, which should be universally erected at the coming of Christ.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalm or song.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us, and [a]cause his face to shine among us. (Selah.)

That [b]they may know thy way upon earth, and thy saving health among all nations.

Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee.

[c]Let the people be glad and rejoice: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon the earth. Selah.

Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee.

Then shall [d]the earth bring forth her increase, and God, even our God shall bless us.

God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth [e]shall fear him.

Isaiah 63:15-19

15 [a]Look down from heaven, and behold from the dwelling place of thine holiness, and of thy glory. Where is thy [b]zeal and thy strength, the multitude of thy mercies, and of thy compassion? they are restrained from [c]me.

16 Doubtless thou art our Father: though [d]Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel know us not, yet thou, O Lord, art our Father, and our redeemer: thy Name is forever.

17 O Lord, why hast [e]thou made us to err from thy ways? and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy [f]servant’s sake, and for the tribes of thine inheritance.

18 The people of thine holiness have possessed it, but a little [g]while: for our adversaries have trodden down thy Sanctuary.

19 We have been as they, over whom thou never barest rule, and upon whom thy name was not called.

Acts 14:19-28

19 [a]Then there came certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, which when they had persuaded the people, (A)stoned Paul, and drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

20 Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he arose up, and came into the city, and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

21 [b]And after they had preached the glad tidings of the Gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch.

22 [c]Confirming the disciples hearts, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, affirming that we must through many afflictions enter into the kingdom of God.

23 [d]And when they had ordained them Elders by election in every Church, and prayed, and fasted, they commended them to the Lord in whom they believed.

24 [e]Thus they went throughout Pisidia, and came to Pamphylia.

25 And when they had preached the word in Perga, they came down to [f]Attalia,

26 And thence sailed to [g]Antioch, (B)from whence they had been commended unto the grace of God, to the work, which they had fulfilled.

27 And when they were come and had gathered the Church together, they rehearsed all the things that God had done by them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

28 So there they abode a long time with the disciples.
