罗马书 12:17-21

17 不要对任何人以恶报恶；要敬重所有的人看为美善的事； 18 如果有可能，尽量在你们的事上与所有的人和睦。 19 各位蒙爱的人哪，不要自己报复，宁可给神的震怒留地步，因为经上记着：“主说：报应在我，我将回报。”[a] 20 不但如此，

“如果你的敌人[b]饿了，就给他吃；
如果他渴了，就给他喝；
因为你这样做，就是把炭火堆在他的头上。”[c]

21 不要被恶所胜，反要以善胜恶。

罗马书 13:8-10

爱邻如己

8 你们对任何人都不要亏欠什么；唯有在彼此相爱的事上，要常以为亏欠。实际上，爱别人的，就成全了律法。 9 这是因为，那“不可通奸，不可杀人，不可偷窃，[a]不可贪心”[b]的诫命，或是别的什么诫命，都包含在“要爱邻如己”[c]这一句话里了。

10 爱是对邻人不做恶事，因此爱是成全律法的。
