92 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High,

² to show forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night,

³ upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the psaltery, upon the harp with a solemn sound.

⁴ For Thou, Lord, hast made me glad through Thy work; I will triumph in the works of Thy hands.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹³ Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing to show

¹⁵ that the Lord is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

⁸ Now go, write it before them on a tablet and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever,

⁹ that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord,

¹⁰ who say to the seers, “See not,” and to the prophets, “Prophesy not unto us right things; speak unto us smooth things; prophesy deceits.

¹¹ Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.”

¹² Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: “Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stand thereon,

¹³ therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

¹⁴ And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter’s vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare, so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water threby out of the pit.”

¹⁵ For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; but ye would not.

¹⁶ But ye said, ‘No, for we will flee upon horses’; therefore shall ye flee! And, ‘We will ride upon the swift’; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift!

¹⁷ One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee, till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill.”

16 “These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not lose faith.

² They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

³ And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me.

⁴ But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. “And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
