New Matthew Bible (NMB)
Version
Acts 10:34-43

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but among all peoples, whoever fears him and works righteousness is accepted with him.

36 You know the preaching that God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, who is Lord over all things. 37 This preaching was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began in Galilee after the baptism that John preached – 38 how God had anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Which Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devils. For God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all the things that he did in the land of the Jews and at Jerusalem. But they slew him, and hung him on a tree. 40 But God raised him up on the third day, and showed him openly – 41 not to all the people, but to us witnesses chosen before by God, who ate and drank with him after he arose from death. 42 And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is he who is ordained by God to be judge of the quick and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets give witness: that through his name, all who believe in him shall receive remission of sins.

Colossians 3:1-4

He puts them in mind of the spiritual resurrection, to lay aside all manner of corrupt living, and to be fruitful in all godliness and virtue. He shows all degrees of persons their duty.

If you then are risen again with Christ, seek those things that are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.  Set your affection on things that are above, and not on things which are on the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life shows himself, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

John 20:1-18

The resurrection of Christ, who appears to Mary Magdalene and to all his disciples, to their great comfort.

20 The morrow after the Sabbath day, Mary Magdalene came early to the sepulchre when it was still dark, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb. Then she ran and went to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.

Peter went out, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. They ran both together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooped down and saw the linen cloths lying there, but did not go in. Then came Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre and saw the linen cloths lying there, and the cloth that had been around his head not lying with the linen cloth, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then that other disciple went in also, who had come first to the sepulchre; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the scriptures, that he must rise again from death. 10 And the disciples went away again to their own homes.

11 Mary stood outside at the sepulchre, weeping. And as she wept, she bowed herself into the sepulchre 12 and saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head and the other at the feet where they had laid the body of Jesus. 13 And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord and I do not know where they have laid him.

14 When she had said this, she turned herself back and saw Jesus standing, but did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom are you seeking?

She, supposing he was a gardener, said to him, Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him so that I may get him.

16 Jesus said to her, Mary!

She turned herself about and said to him, Rabboni! (which is to say, Teacher!).

17 Jesus said to her, Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.

18 Mary Magdalene went and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken such things to her.

Matthew 28:1-10

The resurrection of Christ. The high priests give the soldiers a large sum of money to say that Christ was stolen out of his grave. Christ appears to his disciples, and sends them forth to preach and to baptize.

28 At the close of the Sabbath day, which is in the dawn of the morrow after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the sepulchre. And behold, there was a great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightening and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of him, the guards were overwhelmed and became as dead men.

The angel spoke and said to the women, Fear not: I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here. He is risen, as he said. Come and see the place where the Lord was put. And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from death. And behold, he will go before you into Galilee; there you will see him. Lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All Hail! And they came and held him by the feet and worshipped him. 10 Then said Jesus to them, Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they will see me.
