11 ¶ [a]And so it was when he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria, and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain town, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off.
13 And they lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, (A)Go, show yourselves unto the Priests. And it came to pass, that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice praised God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, and gave him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answered, and said, Are there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There is none found that returned to give God praise, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath saved thee.
20 ¶ [b]And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them, and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with [c]observation.
21 Neither shall men say, Lo here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdom of God is [d]within you.
22 [e]And he said unto the disciples, the days will come, when ye shall desire to see [f]one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 (B)[g]Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or behold there: but go not thither, neither follow them.
24 For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven, so shall the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things and be reproved of this generation.
26 (C)[h]And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man.
27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, and gave in marriage unto the day that Noah went into the Ark: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 (D)Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.
29 But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 After these examples shall it be in the day when the son of man revealed.
31 [i]At that day he that is upon the house, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it out: and he that is in the field likewise, let him not turn back to that he left behind.
32 (E)Remember Lot’s wife.
33 (F)Whosoever will seek to save his soul, shall loose it: and whosoever shall loose it, shall [j]get it life.
34 (G)I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shall be received, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
36 Two shall be in the field: one shall be received, and another shall be left.
37 [k]And they answered, and said to him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, (H)Wheresoever the body is, thither shall also the eagles be gathered together.

1 And [l]he spake also a parable unto them, to this end, that they (I)ought always to pray, and not to [m]wax faint,
2 [n]Saying, there was a judge in a certain city, which feared not God, neither reverenced man.
3 And there was a widow in that city, which came unto him, saying, Do me justice against mine adversary.
4 And he would not of a long time: but afterward he said with himself, Though I fear not God, nor reverence man,
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will do her right, lest at the last she come and [o]make me weary.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge saith.
7 Now shall not God avenge his elect, which cry day and night unto him, yea, though [p]he suffer long for them?
8 I tell you he will avenge them quickly: but when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
9 ¶ [q]He spake also this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were just, and despised others.
10 Two men went up into the Temple to pray: the one a Pharisee, and the other a Publican.
11 [r]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, O God, I thank thee that I am not as other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this Publican.
12 I fast twice in the week: I give tithe of all that ever I possess.
13 But the Publican standing [s]afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote his breast, saying, O God, be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man departed to his house, justified rather than the other: (J)for every man that exalteth himself shall be brought low, and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
