Version
Psalm 89

89 I will sing the mercies of the LORD forever. With my mouth I will declare Your truth from generation to generation.

For I said, “Mercy shall be set up forever. Your truth shall You establish in the very heavens.

“I have made a covenant with My Chosen. I have sworn to David My servant,

“‘Your Seed will I establish forever and set up your Throne from generation to generation.’” Selah.

O LORD, even the heavens shall praise Your wondrous work; indeed, Your truth, in the Congregation of the saints.

For who is equal to the LORD in the heaven? Who is like the LORD among the sons of the gods?

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be reverenced above all who are around Him.

O, LORD God of Hosts, Who is a mighty LORD like You? And Your truth surrounds You.

You rule the raging of the sea. When the waves thereof arise, You still them.

10 You have beaten down Rahab as a man slain. You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

11 The heavens are Yours. The Earth is also Yours. You have laid the foundation of the world and all that therein is.

12 You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in Your Name.

13 You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong. Your right hand is high.

14 Righteousness and equity are the establishment of Your throne. Mercy and truth go before Your face.

15 Blessed is the people who can rejoice in You. They shall walk in the light of Your countenance, O LORD.

16 They shall rejoice continually in Your Name; and in Your righteousness they shall exalt themselves.

17 For You are the glory of their strength; and by Your favor our horns shall be exalted.

18 For our shield belongs to the LORD, and our King to the Holy One of Israel.

19 You spoke, then, in a vision to Your holy one, and said, “I have laid help upon one who is mighty. I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

20 “I have found David, My servant. With My holy oil have I anointed him.

21 “Therefore, My hand shall be established with him and My arm shall strengthen him.

22 “The enemy shall not oppress him, nor shall the wicked hurt him.

23 “But I will destroy his foes before his face and plague those who hate him.

24 “My truth also, and My mercy, shall be with him; and in My Name shall his horn be exalted.

25 “I will also set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the floods.

26 “He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’

27 “Also, I will make him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the Earth.

28 “I will keep My mercy for him for evermore; and My Covenant shall stand fast with him.

29 “I will also make his Seed endure forever, and his Throne as the days of Heaven.

30 “If his children forsake My Law and do not walk in My Judgments,

31 “if they break my statutes and do not keep My Commandments,

32 “then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with strokes.

33 “Yet, I will not take My lovingkindness from him, nor will I falsify My truth.

34 “Nor will I break My Covenant, nor alter the thing that has gone out of My lips.

35 “I have sworn once, by My holiness, that I will not fail David.

36 “His Seed shall endure forever; and his Throne shall be as the Sun before Me.

37 “He shall be established forevermore as the Moon, and as a faithful witness in the heaven.” Selah.

38 But You have rejected and abhorred. You have been angry with Your anointed.

39 You have broken the Covenant of Your servant and profaned his crown, casting it on the ground.

40 You have broken down all his walls. You have laid his fortresses in ruin.

41 All who go by the way, plunder him. He is a rebuke to his neighbors.

42 You have set up the right hand of his enemies and made all his adversaries rejoice.

43 You have also turned the edge of his sword and have not made him stand in the battle.

44 You have caused his dignity to decay and cast his throne to the ground.

45 You have shortened the days of his youth and covered him with shame. Selah.

46 LORD, how long will You hide Yourself? Forever? Shall Your wrath burn like fire?

47 Remember how short my time is. Why should You create all the children of men in vain?

48 What man lives and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

49 LORD, where are Your former mercies You swore to David in Your truth?

50 Remember, O LORD, the rebuke of Your servants, which I bear in my bosom, of all the mighty people.

51 For Your enemies have reproached, O LORD, because they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

52 Praise the LORD forevermore! So be it. Even so be it. A prayer of Moses, the man of God

Psalm 96

96 Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD all the Earth!

Sing to the LORD! Praise His Name! Declare His salvation from day to day.

Declare His Glory among all nations, His wonders among all people.

For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the people are idols. But the LORD made the heavens.

Strength and glory are before Him. Power and beauty are in His Sanctuary.

Give to the LORD, you families of the people! Give to the LORD glory and power!

Give to the LORD the glory of His Name. Bring an offering and enter into His courts.

Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary. Tremble before Him, all the Earth.

10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!” Surely, the world shall be stable and not move; and He shall judge the people in righteousness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the Earth be glad! Let the sea roar, and all that therein is.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it! Let all the trees of the wood then rejoice

13 before the LORD. For He comes. For He comes to judge the Earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people in His truth.

Psalm 100-101

100 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the Earth!

Serve the LORD with gladness. Come before Him with joyfulness!

Know that the LORD is God. He has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with rejoicing. Give Him thanks. Praise Him; and bless His Name.

For the LORD is good. His mercy is everlasting; and His truth is from generation to generation. A Psalm of David

101 I will sing mercy and judgment. To You, O LORD, I will sing!

I will do wisely in the perfect way, till You come to me. I will walk in the uprightness of my heart in the midst of my house.

I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away. It shall not cling to me.

A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil.

He who secretly slanders his neighbor, I will destroy. He who has a proud look and high heart, I cannot allow.

My eyes shall be to the faithful of the land, so that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

No deceitful person shall dwell within my house. He who tells lies shall not remain in my sight.

Early will I destroy all the wicked of the land, so that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the City of the LORD. A prayer of the afflicted, when he shall be in distress and pour forth his meditation before the LORD

Psalm 105

105 Praise the LORD! Call upon His Name! Declare His works among the people!

Sing to Him! Sing praise to Him! Talk of all His wondrous works!

Rejoice in His Holy Name! Let the heart of those who seek the LORD, rejoice!

Seek the LORD and His strength. Seek His face continually.

Remember His marvelous works that He has done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth

you seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob who are His Elect.

He is the LORD our God. His judgments are through all the Earth.

He has always remembered His Covenant promise that He made to a thousand generations

(which he made with Abraham) and his oath to Isaac.

10 And He has since confirmed it to Jacob for a Law, and to Israel for an everlasting Covenant,

11 saying, “To You I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”

12 when they were few in number (indeed, very few) and strangers in the land

13 and walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

14 Still, He allowed no man to do them wrong, but rebuked kings for their sakes, saying,

15 “Do not touch My anointed, nor do my Prophets harm.”

16 Moreover, He called a famine upon the land, and utterly broke the staff of bread.

17 But, He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.

18 They held his feet in the stocks; and he was laid in irons

19 until his appointed time came, and the counsel of the LORD had tried him.

20 The King sent and released him. The ruler of the people delivered him.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,

22 so that he could bind his princes to his will and teach his ancients wisdom.

23 Then Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob was a stranger in the land of Ham.

24 And He increased His people exceedingly and made them stronger than their oppressors.

25 He turned their heart to hate His people, and to deal craftily with His servants.

26 He sent Moses, His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.

27 They showed the message of His signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness and made it dark. And they were not disobedient to His commission.

29 He turned their waters into blood and killed their fish.

30 Their land brought forth frogs, even in their king’s chambers.

31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies and lice in all their quarters.

32 He gave them hail for rain, and flames of fire in their land.

33 He also struck their vines and their fig trees and broke down the trees on their coasts.

34 He spoke, and the grasshoppers came, and innumerable caterpillars,

35 and ate up all the grass in their land and devoured the fruit of their ground.

36 He also struck all the firstborn in their land, even the beginning of all their strength.

37 He also brought them forth with silver and gold, and there was no one feeble among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad at their departing, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night.

40 They asked, and He brought quails; and He filled them with the bread of Heaven.

41 He opened the rock and the water flowed out and ran like a river in the dry places.

42 For He remembered His Holy Promise to Abraham, His servant.

43 And He brought forth His people with joy and his chosen with gladness,

44 and gave them the lands of the heathen. And they took the labors of the people in possession,

45 so that they might keep His statutes and observe His Laws. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD

Psalm 132

132 LORD, remember David with all his affliction.

Who swore to the LORD, vowed to the Mighty of Jacob,

“I will not enter into the tabernacle of my house, nor come upon my pallet (my bed),

“nor allow my eyes to sleep, nor my eyelids to slumber,

“until I find a place for the LORD, a habitation for the Mighty of Jacob.”

Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah and found it in the fields of the forest.

We will enter into His Tabernacles and worship before His footstool.

Arise, O LORD, into Your rest, You and the Ark of Your strength.

Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Your saints rejoice.

10 For Your servant David’s sake, do not refuse the face of Your Anointed.

11 The LORD has sworn to David in truth; and He will not shrink from it, saying, “From the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.

12 “If your sons keep My Covenant, and My testimonies, so that I shall teach them, their sons also shall sit upon your throne forever.”

13 For the LORD has chosen Zion and loved to dwell in it, saying,

14 “This is My rest, forever. Here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 “I will surely bless her provisions and will satisfy her poor with bread

16 “and will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall shout for joy.

17 “There I will make the horn of David bud. I have ordained a Light for My Anointed.

18 “I will clothe His enemies with shame; but on Him His crown shall flourish.” A song of degrees, or Psalm, of Solomon
