The King of Glory Entering Zion.
A Psalm of David.
24 The (A)earth is the Lord’s, and [a]all it contains,
The (B)world, and those who dwell in it.
2 For He has (C)founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
3 Who may (D)ascend into the (E)hill of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy (F)place?
4 He who has (G)clean hands and a (H)pure heart,
Who has not (I)lifted up his soul [b]to falsehood
And has not (J)sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive a (K)blessing from the Lord
And [c](L)righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 [d]This is the generation of those who (M)seek Him,
Who seek Your face—even Jacob. [e]Selah.
7 (N)Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O [f]ancient doors,
That the King of (O)glory may come in!
8 Who is the King of glory?
The Lord (P)strong and mighty,
The Lord (Q)mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O [g]ancient doors,
That the King of (R)glory may come in!
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of (S)hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah.
The Voice of the Lord in the Storm.

29 (A)Ascribe to the Lord, O [a]sons of the mighty,
Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory [b]due to His name;
Worship the Lord (B)in [c]holy array.
3 The (C)voice of the Lord is upon the waters;
The God of glory (D)thunders,
The Lord is over [d](E)many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is (F)powerful,
The voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
Yes, the Lord breaks in pieces (G)the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon (H)skip like a calf,
And (I)Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord hews out [e]flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord [f]shakes the wilderness;
The Lord shakes the wilderness of (J)Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes (K)the deer to calve
And strips the forests bare;
And (L)in His temple everything says, “Glory!”

8 O Lord, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth,
Who have [a](A)displayed Your splendor above the heavens!
2 (B)From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established [b](C)strength
Because of Your adversaries,
To make (D)the enemy and the revengeful cease.
3 When I [c](E)consider (F)Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The (G)moon and the stars, which You have [d]ordained;
4 (H)What is man that You [e]take thought of him,
And the son of man that You care for him?
5 Yet You have made him a (I)little lower than [f]God,
And (J)You crown him with (K)glory and majesty!
6 You make him to (L)rule over the works of Your hands;
You have (M)put all things under his feet,
7 All sheep and oxen,
And also the [g]beasts of the field,
8 The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,
Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
9 (N)O Lord, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth!

84 How lovely are Your (A)dwelling places,
O Lord of hosts!
2 My (B)soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the (C)living God.
3 The bird also has found a house,
And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,
Even Your (D)altars, O Lord of hosts,
(E)My King and my God.
4 How (F)blessed are those who dwell in Your house!
They are (G)ever praising You. [b]Selah.
5 How blessed is the man whose (H)strength is in You,
In [c]whose heart are the (I)highways to Zion!
6 Passing through the valley of [d]Baca they make it a [e]spring;
The (J)early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They (K)go from strength to strength,
[f]Every one of them (L)appears before God in Zion.
8 O (M)Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O (N)God of Jacob! Selah.
9 Behold our (O)shield, O God,
And look upon the face of (P)Your anointed.
10 For (Q)a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the Lord God is (R)a sun and (S)shield;
The Lord gives grace and (T)glory;
(U)No good thing does He withhold [g]from those who walk [h]uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts,
How (V)blessed is the man who trusts in You!
9 (A)Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord;
Awake as in the (B)days of old, the generations of long ago.
(C)Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces,
Who pierced the (D)dragon?
10 Was it not You who (E)dried up the sea,
The waters of the great deep;
Who made the depths of the sea a pathway
For the (F)redeemed to cross over?
11 So the (G)ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
And (H)everlasting joy will be on their heads.
They will obtain gladness and joy,
And (I)sorrow and sighing will flee away.
12 “I, even I, am He who (J)comforts you.
Who are you that you are afraid of (K)man who dies
And of the son of man who is made (L)like grass,
13 That you have (M)forgotten the Lord your Maker,
Who (N)stretched out the heavens
And laid the foundations of the earth,
That you (O)fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor,
As he makes ready to destroy?
But where is the fury of the (P)oppressor?
14 The [a](Q)exile will soon be set free, and will not die in the dungeon, (R)nor will his bread be lacking. 15 For I am the Lord your God, who (S)stirs up the sea and its waves roar (the Lord of hosts is His name). 16 I have (T)put My words in your mouth and have (U)covered you with the shadow of My hand, to [b](V)establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’”
8 By faith (A)Abraham, when he was called, obeyed [a]by going out to a place which he was to (B)receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he lived as an alien in (C)the land of promise, as in a foreign land, (D)dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, (E)fellow heirs of the same promise; 10 for he was looking for (F)the city which has (G)foundations, (H)whose architect and builder is God. 11 By faith even (I)Sarah herself received [b]ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him (J)faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore there was born even of one man, and (K)him as good as dead [c]at that, as many descendants (L)as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
13 (M)All these died in faith, (N)without receiving the promises, but (O)having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and (P)having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. 15 And indeed if they had been [d]thinking of that country from which they went out, (Q)they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a (R)heavenly one. Therefore (S)God is not [e]ashamed to be (T)called their God; for (U)He has prepared a city for them.
14 But when it was now the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and began to (A)teach. 15 (B)The Jews then were astonished, saying, “How has this man (C)become learned, having never been educated?” 16 So Jesus answered them and said, “(D)My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 (E)If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. 18 He who speaks from himself (F)seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
19 “(G)Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you (H)seek to kill Me?” 20 The crowd answered, “(I)You have a demon! Who seeks to kill You?” 21 Jesus answered them, “I did (J)one [a]deed, and you all marvel. 22 For this reason (K)Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from (L)the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man. 23 (M)If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Sabbath? 24 Do not (N)judge according to appearance, but [b]judge with righteous judgment.”
25 So some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, “Is this not the man whom they are seeking to kill? 26 Look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. (O)The rulers do not really know that this is [c]the Christ, do they? 27 However, (P)we know where this man is from; but whenever the Christ may come, no one knows where He is from.” 28 Then Jesus cried out in the temple, (Q)teaching and saying, “(R)You both know Me and know where I am from; and (S)I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know. 29 (T)I know Him, because (U)I am from Him, and (V)He sent Me.” 30 So they (W)were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His (X)hour had not yet come. 31 But (Y)many of the crowd believed in Him; and they were saying, “(Z)When [d]the Christ comes, He will not perform more [e](AA)signs than those which this man has, will He?”
