Version
Psalm 24

A Psalm of David.

¶ The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.

For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in the place of his holiness?

He that has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not taken my name in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his saving health.

This is the generation of those that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

¶ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of the hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalm 29

A Psalm of David.

¶ Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD broke the cedars of Lebanon.

And He made them skip like calves; Lebanon and Sirion like the sons of the unicorns.

The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the LORD that shall shake the wilderness; the LORD shall shake the wilderness of Kadesh.

The voice of the LORD shall make the hinds to calve and shall uncover the forests: and in his temple every one speaks to his glory.

10 The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sat down as King for ever.

11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people in peace.

Psalm 103

A Psalm of David.

¶ Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless the name of his holiness.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases;

who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with mercy and compassion;

who satisfies thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

¶ The LORD executes righteousness and justice unto all that suffer violence.

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the sons of Israel.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He has not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth so does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our rebellions from us.

13 Like as a father has mercy upon his children, so the LORD has mercy upon those that fear him.

14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass; as an open flower of the field, so he blossoms.

16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those that fear him, and his righteousness unto the children’s children,

18 to such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 ¶ The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, valiant and strong, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts, ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Zechariah 9:9-12

¶ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout with joy, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy King shall come unto thee: just, and a saviour; humble, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be broken and he shall speak peace unto the Gentiles; and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have taken thy prisoners out of the pit in which there is no water.

12 ¶ Return to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope; even today I declare that I will render double unto thee;

Zechariah 12:9-11

¶ And it shall come to pass in that day that I will seek to destroy all the Gentiles that come against Jerusalem.

10 And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of prayer, and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn over him as one mourns for his only son, afflicting themselves over him as one afflicts himself over his firstborn.

11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

Zechariah 13:1

13 ¶ In that time there shall be an open fountain for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem against sin and against uncleanness.

Zechariah 13:7-9

¶ Awake, O sword, upon the pastor and upon the man that is my fellow, said the LORD of the hosts; smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

And it shall come to pass that in all the land, said the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off in her and shall be lost; but the third shall be left therein.

And I will put the third part into the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried; He shall call on my name, and I will hear him; I will say, My people, and he shall say, The LORD is my God.

1 Timothy 6:12-16

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, unto which thou art also called, having made a good profession before many witnesses.

13 ¶ I give thee charge in the sight of God, who gives life to all things and before Christ Jesus, who testified before Pontius Pilate a good profession;

14 that thou keep the commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 who in his time shall show the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 the only one who has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man has seen nor can see, to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Matthew 21:12-17

12 ¶ And Jesus went into the temple of God and cast out all those that sold and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those that sold doves

13 and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

15 But when the princes of the priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did and the children crying out in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, they were sore displeased

16 and said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus said unto them, Yes; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of children and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

17 And he left them and went out of the city into Bethany, and he lodged there.
