Psalm 148

Praise Yahweh!

148 [a]Praise Yah!
Praise Yahweh (A)from the heavens;
Praise Him (B)in the heights!
Praise Him, (C)all His angels;
Praise Him, (D)all His hosts!
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all stars of light!
Praise Him, (E)heavens of heavens,
And the (F)waters that are above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For (G)He commanded and they were created.
He caused them to (H)stand forever and ever;
He gave a (I)statute and it will never pass away.

Praise Yahweh from the earth,
(J)Sea monsters and all (K)deeps;
(L)Fire and hail, (M)snow and (N)clouds;
(O)Stormy wind, (P)doing His word;
(Q)Mountains and all hills;
Fruit (R)trees and all cedars;
10 (S)Beasts and all cattle;
(T)Creeping things and winged bird;
11 (U)Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all [b]judges of the earth;
12 Both choice men as well as virgins;
The old with the young.

13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For His (V)name alone is set on high;
His (W)splendor is above earth and heaven.
14 And He has (X)raised up a horn for His people,
(Y)Praise for all His holy ones;
For the sons of Israel, a people (Z)near to Him.
[c]Praise Yah!

Psalm 150

Praise Him, Praise Yah!

150 [a]Praise Yah!
Praise God in His (A)sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty [b](B)expanse.
Praise Him for His (C)mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to the abundance of His (D)greatness.

Praise Him with (E)trumpet blast;
Praise Him with (F)harp and lyre.
Praise Him with (G)tambourine and dancing;
Praise Him with (H)stringed instruments and (I)pipe.
Praise Him with resounding (J)cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals.
Let (K)everything that has breath praise Yah.
[c]Praise Yah!

Psalm 91-92

In the Shadow of the Almighty

91 He who abides in the (A)shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the (B)shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to Yahweh, “My (C)refuge and my (D)fortress,
My God, in whom I (E)trust!”
For it is He who delivers you from the (F)snare of the trapper
And from the destructive (G)pestilence.
He will (H)cover you with His pinions,
And (I)under His wings you will take refuge;
His (J)truth is a (K)large shield and bulwark.

You (L)will not be afraid of (M)terror by night,
Or (N)arrow that flies by day;
Of (O)pestilence that moves in darkness,
Or of (P)destruction that devastates at noon.
A thousand may fall at your side
And ten thousand at your right hand,
But (Q)it shall not approach you.
You will only look on with your eyes
And (R)see the recompense of the wicked.
[a]For you have made Yahweh—(S)my refuge,
The Most High—(T)your dwelling place.
10 (U)No evil will befall you,
And no plague will come near your [b]tent.

11 For He will command (V)His angels concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will (W)bear you up,
Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will (X)tread upon the fierce lion and cobra,
The young lion and the [c]serpent you will trample down.

14 (Y)Because he has loved Me, therefore I will protect him;
I will (Z)set him securely on high, because he has (AA)known My name.
15 He will (AB)call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in his [d]distress;
I will rescue him and (AC)honor him.
16 With [e]a (AD)long life I will satisfy him
And (AE)I will show him My salvation.”

How Great Are Your Works, O Yahweh

A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day.

92 It is (AF)good to give thanks to Yahweh
And to (AG)sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To (AH)declare Your lovingkindness in the morning
And Your (AI)faithfulness [f]by night,
[g]With the (AJ)ten-stringed lute and with the (AK)harp,
[h]With resounding music [i]upon the (AL)lyre.
For You, O Yahweh, have made me glad by [j]what You (AM)have done,
I will (AN)sing for joy at the (AO)works of Your hands.

How (AP)great are Your works, O Yahweh!
Your [k](AQ)thoughts are very (AR)deep.
A (AS)senseless man does not know,
And a (AT)fool does not understand this:
That when the wicked (AU)flourished like grass
And all (AV)the workers of iniquity blossomed,
It was only that they might be (AW)destroyed forevermore.
But You are (AX)on high forever, O Yahweh.
For, behold, Your enemies, O Yahweh,
For, behold, (AY)Your enemies will perish;
All the workers of iniquity will be (AZ)scattered.

10 But You have raised up my (BA)horn like that of the wild ox;
I have [l]been (BB)anointed with fresh oil.
11 And my eye has (BC)looked exultantly upon [m]my foes,
My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.
12 The (BD)righteous man will [n]flourish like the palm tree,
He will grow like a (BE)cedar in Lebanon.
13 (BF)Planted in the house of Yahweh,
They will flourish (BG)in the courts of our God.
14 They will still [o](BH)yield fruit in old age;
They shall be [p]rich and fresh,
15 To [q]declare that (BI)Yahweh is upright;
He is my (BJ)rock, and there is (BK)no unrighteousness in Him.

Isaiah 55:3-9

(A)Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that your soul may (B)live;
And I will cut (C)an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the (D)faithful lovingkindnesses of David.
Behold, I have given (E)him as a witness to the peoples,
A (F)ruler and commander for the peoples.
Behold, you will call a (G)nation you do not know,
And a nation which knows you not will (H)run to you,
Because of Yahweh your God, even the Holy One of Israel;
For He has (I)adorned you with beautiful glory.”

(J)Seek Yahweh while He may be found;
(K)Call upon Him while He is near.
(L)Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his (M)thoughts;
And let him (N)return to Yahweh,
And He will have (O)compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will (P)abundantly pardon.
“For My thoughts are not (Q)your thoughts,
Nor are (R)your ways My ways,” declares Yahweh.
“For (S)as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Colossians 3:1-17

Put On the New Man

Therefore, if you have been (A)raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, (B)seated at the right hand of God. [a](C)Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you (D)died and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, (E)who is our life, is manifested, (F)then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.

(G)Therefore, [b]consider (H)the members of your earthly body as dead to (I)sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. On account of these things, (J)the wrath of God is coming [c]upon the sons of disobedience, and (K)in them you also once walked, when you were living [d]in them. But now you also, (L)lay them all aside: (M)wrath, anger, malice, slander, and (N)abusive speech from your mouth. [e](O)Do not lie to one another, since you (P)put off the old man with its evil practices, 10 and have (Q)put on the new man who is being [f](R)renewed to a full knowledge (S)according to the image of the One who (T)created him— 11 a renewal in which (U)there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, (V)circumcised and uncircumcised, [g](W)barbarian, Scythian, (X)slave, and freeman, but (Y)Christ is all and in all.

12 So, as the (Z)elect of God, holy and beloved, (AA)put on a (AB)heart of compassion, kindness, (AC)humility, gentleness, and [h](AD)patience; 13 (AE)bearing with one another, and (AF)graciously forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone, (AG)just as the Lord graciously forgave you, so also should you. 14 Above all these things put on love, which is [i](AH)the perfect bond of (AI)unity. 15 And let (AJ)the peace of Christ [j]rule in your hearts, to which [k]indeed you were called in (AK)one body, and [l]be thankful. 16 Let (AL)the word of [m]Christ dwell in you richly, [n]with all wisdom (AM)teaching and admonishing [o]one another (AN)with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, (AO)singing [p]with gratefulness in your hearts to God. 17 (AP)And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, (AQ)giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

John 14:6-14

Jesus *said to him, “I am (A)the way, and (B)the truth, and (C)the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.

Oneness with the Father

(D)If you have come to know Me, you will know My Father also; from now on you (E)know Him, and have (F)seen Him.”

(G)Philip *said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus *said to him, “Have I been with you all so long and have you not come to know Me, Philip? (H)He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (I)I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? (J)The words that I say to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 Believe Me that (K)I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise (L)believe because of the works themselves. 12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and (M)greater works than these he will do because (N)I go to the Father. 13 (O)Whatever you ask in My name, this will I do, so that (P)the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything (Q)in My name, I will do it.
