²⁴ And I, Yahweh, will be their God, and My servant ^(A)David will be prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken.

Yahweh Cuts a Covenant

²⁴ “And My servant ^(A)David will be king over them, and they will all have ^(B)one shepherd; and they will walk in My judgments and keep My statutes and do them. ²⁵ They will inhabit the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, which your fathers inhabited; and they will inhabit it, they, and their sons and their sons’ sons, forever; and ^(C)David My servant will be their prince forever.

²⁵ So you are to know and have insight that from the going out of a ^[a](A)word to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until ^[b](B)Messiah the ^(C)Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be restored and rebuilt, with ^[c]plaza and moat, even in times of distress.
