  196. he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.
  197. Therefore justice is far from us, and righteousness does not overtake us; we hope for light, and behold, darkness, and for brightness, but we walk in gloom.
  198. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices;

  285. Jesus Walks on Water

    When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea,
  286. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.
  287. After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.
  288. I Am the Light of the World

    Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
  289. and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the colonnade of Solomon.
  290. Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

    Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.

  332. Warning Against Idleness

    Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
  333. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.
  334. Walking in the Light

    This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
  335. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
  336. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
