  1. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

    When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless.

  20. Any uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”
  21. God said, “No, but your wife Sarah shall bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
  22. But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this season next year.”
  23. Abraham and Abimelech Make a Covenant

    At that time Abimelech, with Phicol the commander of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do;
  24. So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant.
  25. When they had made a covenant at Beer-sheba, Abimelech, with Phicol the commander of his army, left and returned to the land of the Philistines.
