  13. The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven.

    The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat.

    One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.

  23. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.
  24. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
  25. But the Pharisees and the experts in the law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John.)
