For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

  62. For this the earth will mourn, And the heavens above will become dark, Because I have spoken, I have purposed, And I have not changed My mind, nor will I turn from it.”
  63. They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of Ben-hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind.

  71. then in that case listen to the word of the Lord, you remnant of Judah. This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “If you really set your minds to enter Egypt and go in to reside there,
  72. So all the people who set their minds to go to Egypt to reside there will die by the sword, by famine, or by plague; and they will have no refugees or survivors from the disaster that I am going to bring on them.”’”
  73. And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their minds on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword or meet their end by famine. From the small to the great, they will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation, and a disgrace.
  74. “As for the smoking sacrifices that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your forefathers, your kings and your leaders, and the people of the land, did the Lord not remember them, and did all of this not come into His mind?
  75. Therefore hear the plan of the Lord which He has planned against Edom, and His purposes which He has in mind against the inhabitants of Teman: they will certainly drag them off, even the little ones of the flock; He will certainly make their pasture desolate because of them.

  83. Daniel’s Resolve

    But Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king’s choice food or with the wine which he drank; so he sought permission from the commander of the officials that he might not defile himself.
  84. However, there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed.
  85. But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me for any wisdom residing in me more than in any other living person, but for the purpose of making the interpretation known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.
  86. I saw a dream and it startled me; and these appearances as I lay on my bed and the visions in my mind kept alarming me.
  87. ‘Now these were the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed: I was looking, and behold, there was a tree in the middle of the earth and its height was great.
  88. ‘I was looking in the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed, and behold, an angelic watcher, a holy one, descended from heaven.

  91. Vision of the Four Beasts

    In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and visions in his mind as he lay on his bed; then he wrote the dream down and told the following summary of it.
  92. The first was like a lion but had the wings of an eagle. I kept looking until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the ground and set up on two feet like a man; a human mind also was given to it.
  93. The Vision Interpreted

    “As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed within me, and the visions in my mind kept alarming me.
  94. And through his shrewdness He will make deceit a success by his influence; And he will make himself great in his own mind, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.
  95. And he will set his mind on coming with the power of his entire kingdom, bringing with him a proposal of peace which he will put into effect; he will also give him the daughter of women to ruin it. But she will not take a stand for him or be on his side.
  96. And I said to them, “If it is good in your sight, give me my wages; but if not, never mind!” So they weighed out thirty shekels of silver as my wages.
  97. But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but men’s.”
  98. And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
  99. And then they *came to Jesus and *saw the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had previously had the “legion”; and they became frightened.

  123. Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.
  124. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
  125. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
  126. because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,
  127. and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
  128. For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?
  129. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
  130. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
  131. One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.
  132. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus,
  133. Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.
  134. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
  135. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive.

  140. For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.
  141. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his trickery, your minds will be led astray from sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
  142. Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

  144. The Christian’s Walk

    So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their minds,
  145. and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
  146. Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
  147. make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
  148. whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who have their minds on earthly things.
  149. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
  150. Take care that no one keeps defrauding you of your prize by delighting in humility and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind,
  151. Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
  152. constantly keeping in mind your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,
  153. and constant friction between people of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
  154. For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelled in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.

  162. Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
  163. And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.
  164. Purpose of This Letter

    Beloved, this is now the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of a reminder,
  165. These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
  166. And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
  167. Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains upon which the woman sits,
