    The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.

    Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
  2. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
  3. Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
  4. But rejoice, all who take refuge in You, Sing for joy forever! And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may rejoice in You.
  5. I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
  6. I will rejoice and be jubilant in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

  11. We will sing for joy over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your desires.
  12. Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power.
  13. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings; Remember me according to Your faithfulness, For Your goodness’ sake, Lord.
  14. The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
  15. Look at my misery and my trouble, And forgive all my sins.
  16. Do not take my soul away along with sinners, Nor my life with men of bloodshed,
  17. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer sacrifices in His tent with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
  18. Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, And praise the mention of His holiness.
  19. That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

    How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!
  21. When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.
  22. I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
  23. Praise to the Creator and Protector.

    Sing for joy in the Lord, you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright.
  24. Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
  25. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
