  1. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
  2. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
  3. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
  4. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

  18. Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
  19. The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
  20. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
  21. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
  22. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
  23. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
  24. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
  25. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
