  48. And he left there and went to the house of a man named Titius Justus, a worshiper of God. His house was next door to the synagogue.
  49. But since it is a matter of questions about words and names and your own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of these things.”
  50. Apollos Speaks Boldly in Ephesus

    Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures.
  51. On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
  52. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”

  59. And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’
  60. “I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
  61. Paul Sails for Rome

    And when it was decided that we should sail for Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion of the Augustan Cohort named Julius.
  62. Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us and entertained us hospitably for three days.
