  1. Fellowship with Him and One Another

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
  2. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
  3. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  4. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
  5. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
  6. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
  7. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
  8. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
