  15. “At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts.
  16. Like keepers of a field they are against her all around, Because she has been rebellious against Me,” says the Lord.
  17. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth.
  18. I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.
  19. I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were broken down At the presence of the Lord, By His fierce anger.
  20. Their quiver is like an open tomb; They are all mighty men.
  21. And it will be when you say, ‘Why does the Lord our God do all these things to us?’ then you shall answer them, ‘Just as you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve aliens in a land that is not yours.’
  22. The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her. They shall pitch their tents against her all around. Each one shall pasture in his own place.”
  23. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down,” says the Lord.
  24. They are all stubborn rebels, walking as slanderers. They are bronze and iron, They are all corrupters;
  25. “Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’ ”
