  1. Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you.

  7. Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

  9. The Firstborn Animals

    Set apart for the Lord your God every firstborn male of your herds and flocks. Do not put the firstborn of your cows to work, and do not shear the firstborn of your sheep.

  20. Uncleanness in the Camp

    When you are encamped against your enemies, keep away from everything impure.
  21. But as evening approaches he is to wash himself, and at sunset he may return to the camp.
  22. You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a fellow Israelite, so that the Lord your God may bless you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.
  23. Do not take a pair of millstones—not even the upper one—as security for a debt, because that would be taking a person’s livelihood as security.
  24. I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me.
  25. The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
