  12. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.
  13. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
  14. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous

  30. The Sign of Jonah

    When the crowds were increasing, he began to say, “This generation is an evil generation. It seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.
  31. But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’
  32. A third time he said to them, “Why? What evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death. I will therefore punish and release him.”
  33. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.
  34. and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
  35. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.
  36. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.

    Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.

  107. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
