Visión sobre el sumo sacerdote Josué
3 Entonces me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué(A), que estaba delante del ángel del Señor; y Satanás[a] estaba a su derecha para acusarlo(B). 2 Y el ángel del Señor[b] dijo a Satanás: El Señor te reprenda, Satanás(C). Repréndate el Señor que ha escogido a Jerusalén(D). ¿No es este un tizón arrebatado del fuego(E)? 3 Y Josué estaba vestido de ropas sucias(F), en pie delante del ángel. 4 Y este habló, y dijo a los que estaban delante de él[c]: Quitadle las ropas sucias(G). Y a él le dijo: Mira, he quitado de ti tu iniquidad(H) y te vestiré[d] de ropas de gala(I). 5 Después dijo[e]: Que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza. Y le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza y le vistieron con ropas de gala(J); y el ángel del Señor estaba allí[f].
6 Entonces el ángel del Señor amonestó a Josué, diciendo: 7 Así dice el Señor de los ejércitos: «Si andas en mis caminos, y si guardas mis ordenanzas, también tú gobernarás mi casa(K); además tendrás a tu cargo mis atrios y te daré libre acceso[g](L) entre estos que están aquí(M). 8 Escucha ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan ante ti, que son hombres de presagio(N), pues he aquí, yo voy a traer a mi siervo, el Renuevo(O). 9 Porque he aquí la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué, sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos(P). He aquí, yo grabaré una inscripción en ella» —declara el Señor de los ejércitos— «y quitaré la iniquidad(Q) de esta tierra en un solo día. 10 Aquel día» —declara el Señor de los ejércitos— «convidaréis cada uno a su prójimo bajo su parra y bajo su higuera(R)».

Ropas limpias para el sumo sacerdote
3 Entonces me mostró a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, que estaba de pie ante el ángel del Señor y a Satanás,[a] que estaba a su mano derecha para acusarlo. 2 El ángel del Señor dijo a Satanás: «¡Que te reprenda el Señor, quien ha escogido a Jerusalén! ¡Que el Señor te reprenda, Satanás! ¿No es este hombre un tizón rescatado del fuego?».
3 Josué estaba vestido con ropas sucias en presencia del ángel. 4 Así que el ángel dijo a los que estaban allí, delante de él: «¡Quítenle las ropas sucias!». Y a Josué dijo: «Como puedes ver, ya te he liberado de tu culpa; ahora voy a vestirte con ropas de gala».
5 Yo dije: «¡Pónganle también un turbante limpio en la cabeza!». Y pusieron en su cabeza un turbante limpio y lo vistieron, mientras el ángel del Señor permanecía de pie. 6 Luego el ángel del Señor hizo esta advertencia a Josué: 7 «Así dice el Señor de los Ejércitos: “Si andas en mis caminos y cumples mis órdenes, entonces gobernarás mi casa y te harás cargo de mis atrios. ¡Yo te concederé un lugar entre estos que están aquí!
8 »”Escucha, Josué, sumo sacerdote, y que lo oigan tus compañeros que se sientan en tu presencia y que son símbolos de lo que vendrá: Estoy por traer a mi siervo, estoy por traer al Renuevo. 9 ¡Mira, Josué, la piedra que ante ti he puesto! Hay en ella siete ojos[b] y en ella pondré una inscripción. ¡En un solo día borraré el pecado de esta tierra!”, afirma el Señor de los Ejércitos.
10 »“En aquel día —afirma el Señor de los Ejércitos—, cada uno de ustedes invitará a su vecino a sentarse debajo de su vid y de su higuera”».

Clean Garments for the High Priest
3 Then he showed me Joshua(A) the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan[a](B) standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you,(C) Satan! The Lord, who has chosen(D) Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick(E) snatched from the fire?”(F)
3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”
Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin,(G) and I will put fine garments(H) on you.”
5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban(I) on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by.
6 The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua: 7 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements,(J) then you will govern my house(K) and have charge(L) of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.(M)
8 “‘Listen, High Priest(N) Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic(O) of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.(P) 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua!(Q) There are seven eyes[b](R) on that one stone,(S) and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin(T) of this land in a single day.
10 “‘In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit(U) under your vine and fig tree,(V)’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

Vision of the High Priest
3 Then he showed me (A)Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and (B)Satan[a] standing at his right hand to oppose him. 2 And the Lord said to Satan, (C)“The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who (D)has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! (E)Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
3 Now Joshua was clothed with (F)filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.
4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, (G)and I will clothe you with rich robes.”
5 And I said, “Let them put a clean (H)turban on his head.”
So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.
The Coming Branch
6 Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying, 7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘If you will walk in My ways,
And if you will (I)keep My command,
Then you shall also (J)judge My house,
And likewise have charge of My courts;
I will give you places to walk
Among these who (K)stand here.
8 ‘Hear, O Joshua, the high priest,
You and your companions who sit before you,
For they are (L)a[b] wondrous sign;
For behold, I am bringing forth (M)My Servant the (N)BRANCH.
9 For behold, the stone
That I have laid before Joshua:
(O)Upon the stone are (P)seven eyes.
Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’
Says the Lord of hosts,
‘And (Q)I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 (R)In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,
‘Everyone will invite his neighbor
(S)Under his vine and under his fig tree.’ ”
