Oración pidiendo rescate y prosperidad
Salmo de David.
144 Bendito sea el Señor, mi Roca(A),
Que adiestra mis manos para la guerra(B),
Y mis dedos para la batalla.
2 Misericordia mía y fortaleza mía(C),
Mi baluarte y mi libertador(D),
Escudo mío(E) en quien me he refugiado,
El que sujeta a mi pueblo debajo de mí(F).
3 Oh Señor, ¿qué es el hombre para que Tú lo tengas en cuenta(G),
O el hijo del hombre para que pienses en él?
4 El hombre es semejante a un soplo(H);
Sus días son como una sombra que pasa(I).
5 ¶Oh Señor, inclina Tus cielos(J) y desciende(K);
Toca los montes para que humeen(L).
6 Despide relámpagos(M) y dispérsalos;
Lanza Tus flechas(N) y confúndelos.
7 Extiende Tu mano desde lo alto(O);
Rescátame y líbrame de las muchas aguas(P);
De la mano de extranjeros(Q),
8 Cuya boca habla falsedad(R)
Y cuya diestra es diestra de mentira(S).
9 ¶Oh Dios, un cántico nuevo(T) te cantaré;
Con arpa de diez cuerdas(U) cantaré alabanzas a Ti,
10 El que da la victoria[a] a los reyes(V),
El que rescata a David(W) Su siervo de la espada maligna.
11 Rescátame y líbrame de la mano de extranjeros(X),
Cuya boca habla falsedad(Y)
Y cuya diestra es diestra de mentira(Z).
12 ¶Sean nuestros hijos en su juventud como plantíos florecientes(AA),
Y nuestras hijas como columnas de esquinas(AB) labradas como las de un palacio.
13 Estén llenos nuestros graneros(AC), suministrando toda clase de sustento,
Y nuestros rebaños produzcan miles y diez miles en nuestros campos.
14 Esté cargado nuestro ganado(AD),
Sin fracasos(AE) y sin pérdida(AF),
Y no haya gritos de alarma en nuestras calles(AG).
15 Bienaventurado el pueblo a quien así le sucede;
Bienaventurado el pueblo cuyo Dios es el Señor(AH).

1 Praise be to the Lord my Rock,(A)
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.
2 He is my loving God and my fortress,(B)
my stronghold(C) and my deliverer,
my shield,(D) in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples[a](E) under me.
3 Lord, what are human beings(F) that you care for them,
mere mortals that you think of them?
4 They are like a breath;(G)
their days are like a fleeting shadow.(H)
5 Part your heavens,(I) Lord, and come down;(J)
touch the mountains, so that they smoke.(K)
6 Send forth lightning(L) and scatter(M) the enemy;
shoot your arrows(N) and rout them.
7 Reach down your hand from on high;(O)
deliver me and rescue me(P)
from the mighty waters,(Q)
from the hands of foreigners(R)
8 whose mouths are full of lies,(S)
whose right hands(T) are deceitful.(U)
9 I will sing a new song(V) to you, my God;
on the ten-stringed lyre(W) I will make music to you,
10 to the One who gives victory to kings,(X)
who delivers his servant David.(Y)
From the deadly sword(Z) 11 deliver me;
rescue me(AA) from the hands of foreigners(AB)
whose mouths are full of lies,(AC)
whose right hands are deceitful.(AD)
12 Then our sons in their youth
will be like well-nurtured plants,(AE)
and our daughters will be like pillars(AF)
carved to adorn a palace.
13 Our barns will be filled(AG)
with every kind of provision.
Our sheep will increase by thousands,
by tens of thousands in our fields;
14 our oxen(AH) will draw heavy loads.[b]
There will be no breaching of walls,(AI)
no going into captivity,
no cry of distress in our streets.(AJ)
15 Blessed is the people(AK) of whom this is true;
blessed is the people whose God is the Lord.

144 (A)Ще Те превъзнасям, Боже мой, Царю (мой), и ще благославям Твоето име отвека довека.
2 Всеки ден ще Те благославям и ще възхвалям Твоето име отвека довека.
3 (B)Велик е Господ и достоен за хвала, и Неговото величие е неизследимо.
4 (C)Род роду ще възхваля делата Ти и ще разказва за Твоето могъщество.
5 Аз пък ще размишлявам за високата слава на Твоето величие и за Твоите дивни дела.
6 Ще говорят за могъществото на Твоите страшни дела, и аз ще разгласям за Твоето величие.
7 Ще разгласят паметта на Твоята велика благост и ще възпяват Твоята правда.
8 (D)Щедър и милостив е Господ, дълготърпелив и многомилостив.
9 (E)Благ е Господ към всички, и Неговите щедрости са върху всичките Му дела.
10 Да Те славят, Господи, всички Твои дела, и да Те благославят Твоите светии;
11 (F)да проповядват славата на Твоето царство и да разказват за Твоето могъщество,
12 та да знаят синовете човешки за Твоето могъщество и за славното величие на Твоето царство.
13 (G)Твоето царство е царство на всички векове, и Твоето владичество във всички родове. (Верен е Господ във всичките Си слова и свет във всичките Си дела.)
14 (H)Господ поддържа всички падащи и изправя всички свалени.
15 (I)Очите на всички се на Тебе уповават, и Ти им даваш тяхната храна своевременно;
16 (J)отваряш ръката Си и насищаш всичко, що живее по благоволение.
17 Праведен е Господ във всичките Си пътища и благ във всичките Си дела.
18 (K)Близо е Господ към всички, които Го призовават, към всички, които Го в истина призовават.
