The Woman, Israel

12 A great (A)sign appeared (B)in heaven: (C)a woman (D)clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; and she *(E)cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.

The Red Dragon, Satan

Then (F)another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red (G)dragon having (H)seven heads and (I)ten horns, and on his heads were (J)seven diadems. And his tail *swept away a (K)third of the stars of heaven and (L)threw them to the earth. And the (M)dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth (N)he might devour her child.

The Male Child, Christ

And (O)she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to [a](P)rule all the [b]nations with a rod of iron; and her child was (Q)caught up to God and to His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she *had a place prepared by God, so that there [c]she would be nourished for (R)one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

The Angel, Michael

And there was war in heaven, (S)Michael and his angels waging war with the (T)dragon. The dragon and (U)his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great (V)dragon was thrown down, the (W)serpent of old who is called the devil and (X)Satan, who (Y)deceives the whole [d]world; he was (Z)thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 Then I heard (AA)a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the (AB)salvation, and the power, and the (AC)kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the (AD)accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And they (AE)overcame him because of (AF)the blood of the Lamb and because of (AG)the word of their testimony, and they (AH)did not love their life even [e]when faced with death. 12 For this reason, (AI)rejoice, O heavens and (AJ)you who [f]dwell in them. (AK)Woe to the earth and the sea, because (AL)the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only (AM)a short time.”

13 And when the (AN)dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted (AO)the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14 But the (AP)two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly (AQ)into the wilderness to her place, where she *was nourished for (AR)a time and times and half a time, from the [g]presence of the serpent. 15 And the (AS)serpent [h]poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. 16 [i]But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon [j]poured out of his mouth. 17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to (AT)make war with the rest of her [k](AU)children, who (AV)keep the commandments of God and (AW)hold to the testimony of Jesus.

The Beast from the Sea

13 And the dragon stood on the sand of the [l]seashore.

Then I saw a (AX)beast coming up out of the sea, having (AY)ten horns and (AZ)seven heads, and on his horns were (BA)ten diadems, and on his heads were (BB)blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was (BC)like a leopard, and his feet were like those of (BD)a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of (BE)a lion. And the (BF)dragon gave him his power and his (BG)throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been [m]slain, and his (BH)fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth (BI)was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the (BJ)dragon because he (BK)gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “(BL)Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” There was given to him a mouth (BM)speaking [n]arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for (BN)forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, (BO)those who [o]dwell in heaven.

It was also given to him to (BP)make war with the [p]saints and to overcome them, and authority over (BQ)every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. All who (BR)dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone (BS)whose name has not been [q]written (BT)from the foundation of the world in the (BU)book of life of (BV)the Lamb who has been slain. (BW)If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 (BX)If anyone [r]is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; (BY)if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is (BZ)the [s]perseverance and the faith of the [t]saints.

The Beast from the Earth

11 Then (CA)I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had (CB)two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a (CC)dragon. 12 He (CD)exercises all the authority of the first beast [u](CE)in his presence. And he makes (CF)the earth and those who dwell in it to (CG)worship the first beast, whose (CH)fatal wound was healed. 13 He (CI)performs great signs, so that he even makes (CJ)fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14 And he (CK)deceives (CL)those who dwell on the earth because of (CM)the signs which it was given him to perform [v](CN)in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the (CO)wound of the sword and has come to life. 15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even [w]speak and cause (CP)as many as do not (CQ)worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he causes all, (CR)the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, [x]to be given a (CS)mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the (CT)mark, either (CU)the name of the beast or (CV)the number of his name. 18 (CW)Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that (CX)of a man; and his number is [y]six hundred and sixty-six.

The Lamb and the 144,000 on Mount Zion

14 Then I looked, and behold, (CY)the Lamb was standing on (CZ)Mount Zion, and with Him (DA)one hundred and forty-four thousand, having (DB)His name and the (DC)name of His Father written (DD)on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like (DE)the sound of many waters and like the (DF)sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of (DG)harpists playing on their harps. And they *[z]sang (DH)a new song before the throne and before the (DI)four living creatures and the (DJ)elders; and (DK)no one could learn the song except the (DL)one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been (DM)purchased from the earth. (DN)These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they [aa]have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who (DO)follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been (DP)purchased from among men (DQ)as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And (DR)no lie was found in their mouth; they are (DS)blameless.

Vision of the Angel with the Gospel

And I saw another angel flying in (DT)midheaven, having (DU)an eternal gospel to preach to (DV)those who [ab]live on the earth, and to (DW)every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice, “(DX)Fear God, and (DY)give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who (DZ)made the heaven and the earth and sea and (EA)springs of waters.”

And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “[ac](EB)Fallen, fallen is (EC)Babylon the great, she who has (ED)made all the nations drink of the (EE)wine of the [ad]passion of her immorality.”

Doom for Worshipers of the Beast

Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone (EF)worships the beast and his (EG)image, and receives a (EH)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the (EI)wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed [ae]in full strength (EJ)in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with (EK)fire and [af]brimstone in the presence of the (EL)holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the (EM)smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; (EN)they have no rest day and night, those who (EO)worship the beast and his (EP)image, and [ag]whoever receives the (EQ)mark of his name.” 12 Here is (ER)the [ah]perseverance of the [ai]saints who (ES)keep the commandments of God and [aj](ET)their faith in Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘(EU)Blessed are the dead who (EV)die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” (EW)says the Spirit, “so that they may (EX)rest from their labors, for their (EY)deeds follow with them.”

The Reapers

14 Then I looked, and behold, a (EZ)white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one (FA)like [ak]a son of man, having a golden (FB)crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. 15 And another angel (FC)came out of the [al]temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “[am](FD)Put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the (FE)harvest of the earth [an]is ripe.” 16 Then He who sat on the cloud [ao]swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel (FF)came out of the [ap]temple which is in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. 18 Then another angel, (FG)the one who has power over fire, came out from (FH)the altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “[aq](FI)Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters [ar]from the vine of the earth, (FJ)because her grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel [as]swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into (FK)the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20 And (FL)the wine press was trodden (FM)outside the city, and (FN)blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, [at]for a distance of [au]two hundred miles.
