³⁰ The king ^[a]reflected and said, ‘Is this not Babylon the ^(A)great, which I myself have built as a royal ^[b]residence by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?’

^19 (A)The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the ^[a]nations fell. ^(B)Babylon the great was ^(C)remembered before God, to give her ^(D)the cup of the wine of ^[b]His fierce wrath.

⁵ and on her forehead a name was written, a ^(A)mystery, “^(B)BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF ^(C)THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
