To the Church in Thyatira

¹⁸ “To the angel of the church in Thyatira^(A) write:

¹⁴ The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.^{(A) 15} His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace,^(B) and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.^(C)

¹¹ which said: “Write on a scroll what you see^(A) and send it to the seven churches:^(B) to Ephesus,^(C) Smyrna,^(D) Pergamum,^(E) Thyatira,^(F) Sardis,^(G) Philadelphia^(H) and Laodicea.”^(I)

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.^{(A) 36} Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,^(B) but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

¹⁷ And a voice from heaven^(A) said, “This is my Son,^(B) whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”^(C)

⁷ I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

³² He who did not spare his own Son,^(A) but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

⁴ and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power^[a](A) by his resurrection from the dead:^(B) Jesus Christ our Lord.^(C)

³⁶ what about the one whom the Father set apart^(A) as his very own^(B) and sent into the world?^(C) Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?^(D)
