O come, let us sing to the Lord;
    let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!(A)
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!(B)
For the Lord is a great God

O come, let us worship and bow down;
    let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!(E)
For he is our God,
    and we are the people of his pasture
    and the sheep of his hand.

O that today you would listen to his voice!(F)
    Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah,
    as on the day at Massah in the wilderness,(G)
when your ancestors tested me
    and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work.(H)
10 For forty years I loathed that generation
    and said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray,
    and they do not regard my ways.”(I)
11 Therefore in my anger I swore,
    “They shall not enter my rest.”(J)

All day long my enemies taunt me;
    those who deride me use my name for a curse.(BN)
Indeed, I eat ashes like bread
    and mingle tears with my drink,(BO)
10 because of your indignation and anger,
    for you have lifted me up and thrown me aside.
11 My days are like a lengthening shadow;
    I wither away like grass.(BP)

12 But you, O Lord, are enthroned forever;
    your name endures to all generations.(BQ)
13 You will rise up and have compassion on Zion,
    for it is time to favor it;

you whose years endure
    throughout all generations.”(CB)

25 Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth,
    and the heavens are the work of your hands.(CC)

    nor will he keep his anger forever.(CK)
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins
    nor repay us according to our iniquities.(CL)

    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;(CM)
12 as far as the east is from the west,
    so far he removes our transgressions from us.(CN)
13 As a father has compassion for his children,
    so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.(CO)
14 For he knows how we were made;
    he remembers that we are dust.(CP)

15 As for mortals, their days are like grass;
    they flourish like a flower of the field;(CQ)
16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
    and its place knows it no more.
17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
    on those who fear him,

18 to those who keep his covenant
    and remember to do his commandments.(CR)

19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
