14 But I will hope continually,
And will praise You yet more and more.
15 My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God;
I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.

17 O God, You have taught me from my (A)youth;
And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.
18 Now also (B)when I am old and grayheaded,
O God, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.

19 Also (C)Your righteousness, O God, is [a]very high,
You who have done great things;
(D)O God, who is like You?
20 (E)You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,
(F)Shall revive me again,
And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 You shall increase my greatness,
And comfort me on every side.

22 Also (G)with the lute I will praise You—
And Your faithfulness, O my God!
To You I will sing with the harp,
O (H)Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And (I)my soul, which You have redeemed.
24 My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long;
For they are confounded,
For they are brought to shame
Who seek my hurt.

14 And I continually do wait with hope, And have added unto all Thy praise.

15 My mouth recounteth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy salvation, For I have not known the numbers.

16 I come in the might of the Lord Jehovah, I mention Thy righteousness -- Thine only.

17 God, Thou hast taught me from my youth, And hitherto I declare Thy wonders.

18 And also unto old age and grey hairs, O God, forsake me not, Till I declare Thy strength to a generation, To every one that cometh Thy might.

19 And Thy righteousness, O God, [is] unto the heights, Because Thou hast done great things, O God, who [is] like Thee?

20 Because Thou hast showed me many and sad distresses, Thou turnest back -- Thou revivest me, And from the depths of the earth, Thou turnest back -- Thou bringest me up.

21 Thou dost increase my greatness, And Thou surroundest -- Thou comfortest me,

22 I also thank Thee with a vessel of psaltery, Thy truth, O my God, I sing to Thee with a harp, O Holy One of Israel,

23 My lips cry aloud when I sing praise to Thee, And my soul that Thou hast redeemed,

24 My tongue also all the day uttereth Thy righteousness, Because ashamed -- because confounded, Have been those seeking my evil!

14 But as for me, I will (A)wait continually,
And will [a](B)praise You yet more and more.
15 My (C)mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And of (D)Your salvation all day long;
For I (E)do not know the art of writing.
16 I will come (F)with the mighty deeds of the Lord [b]God;
I will (G)make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.

17 God, You (H)have taught me from my youth,
And I still (I)declare Your wondrous deeds.
18 And even when I am (J)old and gray, God, do not abandon me,
Until I (K)declare Your [c]strength to this generation,
Your power to all who are to come.
19 [d]For Your (L)righteousness, God, reaches to the [e]heavens,
You who have (M)done great things;
God, (N)who is like You?
20 You who have (O)shown [f]me many troubles and distresses
Will (P)revive [g]me again,
And will bring [h]me up again (Q)from the depths of the earth.
21 May You increase my (R)greatness
And turn to (S)comfort me.

22 I will also praise You with [i](T)a harp,
And Your [j]truth, my God;
I will sing praises to You with the (U)lyre,
(V)Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips will (W)shout for joy when I sing praises to You;
And my (X)soul, which You have redeemed.
24 My (Y)tongue also will tell of Your righteousness all day long;
For they are (Z)put to shame, for they are humiliated who seek [k]my harm.
