Psalm 71:14-24

New King James Version

¹⁴But I will hope continually,
And will praise You yet more and more.
¹⁵My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.
¹⁶I will go in the strength of the Lord God;
I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.

¹⁷O God, You have taught me from my ^(A)youth;
And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.
¹⁸Now also ^(B)when I am old and grayheaded,
O God, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.

¹⁹Also ^(C)Your righteousness, O God, is ^[a]very high,
You who have done great things;
^(D)O God, who is like You?
²⁰^(E)You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,
^(F)Shall revive me again,
And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
²¹You shall increase my greatness,
And comfort me on every side.

²²Also ^(G)with the lute I will praise You—
And Your faithfulness, O my God!
To You I will sing with the harp,
O ^(H)Holy One of Israel.
²³My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And ^(I)my soul, which You have redeemed.
²⁴My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long;
For they are confounded,
For they are brought to shame
Who seek my hurt.

¹⁴And I continually do wait with hope, And have added unto all Thy praise.

¹⁵My mouth recounteth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy salvation, For I have not known the numbers.

¹⁶I come in the might of the Lord Jehovah, I mention Thy righteousness -- Thine only.

¹⁷God, Thou hast taught me from my youth, And hitherto I declare Thy wonders.

¹⁸And also unto old age and grey hairs, O God, forsake me not, Till I declare Thy strength to a generation, To every one that cometh Thy might.

¹⁹And Thy righteousness, O God, [is] unto the heights, Because Thou hast done great things, O God, who [is] like Thee?

²⁰Because Thou hast showed me many and sad distresses, Thou turnest back -- Thou revivest me, And from the depths of the earth, Thou turnest back -- Thou bringest me up.

²¹Thou dost increase my greatness, And Thou surroundest -- Thou comfortest me,

²²I also thank Thee with a vessel of psaltery, Thy truth, O my God, I sing to Thee with a harp, O Holy One of Israel,

²³My lips cry aloud when I sing praise to Thee, And my soul that Thou hast redeemed,

²⁴My tongue also all the day uttereth Thy righteousness, Because ashamed -- because confounded, Have been those seeking my evil!

I will ^(G)make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.

¹⁷God, You ^(H)have taught me from my youth,
And I still ^(I)declare Your wondrous deeds.
¹⁸And even when I am ^(J)old and gray, God, do not abandon me,
Until I ^(K)declare Your ^[c]strength to this generation,
Your power to all who are to come.
