²³ They ^(A)came in and took possession of it, but they ^(B)did not listen to Your voice and did not ^(C)walk in Your law. They have not done anything that You commanded them to do; therefore You have made ^(D)all this harmful evil come upon them.

¹⁰ But they ^(A)have not become ^[a]contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor ^(B)walked in My law or My statutes, which I have put before you and before your fathers.”’

²³ Because you have burned incense and have sinned against Yahweh and ^(A)not listened to the voice of Yahweh or ^(B)walked in His law, His statutes, or His testimonies, therefore this ^(C)evil has befallen you, as it has this day.”
