¹⁵ Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,
    who walk^(A) in the light^(B) of your presence, Lord.

²⁸ You have made known to me the paths of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence.’^[a](A)

⁷ How beautiful on the mountains^(A)
    are the feet of those who bring good news,^(B)
who proclaim peace,^(C)
    who bring good tidings,
    who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
    “Your God reigns!”^(D)
8 Listen! Your watchmen^(E) lift up their voices;^(F)
    together they shout for joy.^(G)
When the Lord returns^(H) to Zion,^(I)
    they will see it with their own eyes.

⁵ Come, descendants of Jacob,^(A)
    let us walk in the light^(B) of the Lord.

⁶ Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”
    Let the light of your face shine on us.^(A)

³ when his lamp shone on my head
    and by his light I walked through darkness!^(A)

²¹ “No misfortune is seen in Jacob,^(A)
    no misery observed^[a] in Israel.^(B)
The Lord their God is with them;^(C)
    the shout of the King^(D) is among them.
