²² who has gone into heaven and ^(A)is at the right hand of God, ^(B)with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

⁸ And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders ^(A)fell down before the Lamb, ^(B)each holding a harp, and ^(C)golden bowls full of incense, ^(D)which are the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sang ^(E)a new song, saying,

¹¹ Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering ^(J)myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying with a loud voice,

¹³ And I heard ^(L)every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,

Jesus, High Priest of a Better Covenant

8 Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, ^(A)one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

²⁰ that he worked in Christ ^(A)when he raised him from the dead and ^(B)seated him at his right hand ^(C)in the heavenly places, ^21 (D)far above ^(E)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above ^(F)every name that is named, not only in ^(G)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And ^(H)he put all things under his feet and gave him as ^(I)head over all things to the church,

^22 (A)The glory that you have given me ^(B)I have given to them, ^(C)that they may be one even as we are one,

⁵ And now, Father, ^(A)glorify me in your own presence with the glory ^(B)that I had with you ^(C)before the world existed.

The High Priestly Prayer

17 When Jesus had spoken these words, ^(A)he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, ^(B)the hour has come; ^(C)glorify your Son that the Son may ^(D)glorify you,

¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, ^(A)“All authority ^(B)in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
