Ang Bagong Tipan: Filipino Standard Version

22 Pagkatapos ay ipinakita (A) sa akin ng anghel ang ilog ng tubig ng buhay na kasinlinaw ng kristal. Bumubukal iyon mula sa trono ng Diyos at ng Kordero 2 sa (B) gitna ng lansangan ng lungsod.Naroon sa magkabilang pampang ng ilog ang puno ng buhay na namumunga ng labindalawang uri ng prutas, namumunga ito bawat buwan; at ang mga dahon ng puno ay nakapagpapagaling sa mga bansa. 3 Hindi na (C) magkakaroon doon ng anumang isinumpa, sapagkat ang trono ng Diyos at ng Kordero ay naroon, at sasambahin siya ng kanyang mga lingkod. 4 Makikita nila ang kanyang mukha, at ang pangalan niya ay masusulat sa kanilang mga noo. 5 Wala (D) nang gabi; hindi na nila kakailanganin pa ng liwanag o ng araw, sapagkat ang Panginoong Diyos ang magliliwanag sa kanila, at maghahari sila magpakailanpaman.

Ang Pagdating ni Cristo

6 At sinabi niya sa akin, “Ang mga salitang ito ay tapat at totoo. Ang Panginoon, na siyang Diyos ng mga espiritu ng mga propeta, ay nagsugo ng kanyang anghel upang ipakita sa kanyang mga lingkod kung ano ang malapit nang mangyari.”

7 “Tingnan mo, ako'y malapit nang dumating! Pinagpala ang nag-iingat ng mga salita ng propesiya ng aklat na ito.”

8 Akong si Juan ay nakarinig at nakakita sa mga bagay na ito. Matapos kong marinig at makita ang lahat, nagpatirapa ako upang sumamba sa harapan ng anghel na siyang nagpakita ng mga bagay na ito sa akin. 9 Ngunit sinabi niya sa akin, “Huwag mong gawin iyan! Ako'y kapwa mo lingkod at ng mga kapatid mong propeta, at ng mga sumusunod sa mga salita sa aklat na ito. Sa Diyos ka sumamba!”

10 At sinabi pa niya sa akin, “Huwag mong takpan ng tatak ang mga salita ng propesiya ng aklat na ito, sapagkat ang panahon ay malapit na. 11 Hayaang (E) magpakasama pa ang gumagawa ng masama, at ang marumi ay magpakarumi pa, ang matuwid ay magpakatuwid pa, at ang banal ay manatiling banal.”

12 “Tingnan (F) mo, ako'y malapit nang dumating; dala ko ang aking gantimpala, upang gantimpalaan ang bawat isa ayon sa kanyang ginawa. 13 Ako (G) ang Alpha at ang Omega, ang una at ang huli, ang simula at ang wakas.”

14 Pinagpala (H) ang mga naghuhugas ng kanilang mga damit, upang magkaroon sila ng karapatan sa puno ng buhay at makapasok sa mga pintuan ng lungsod. 15 Sa labas naman ay ang mga aso, mga mangkukulam, mga mapakiapid, mga mamamatay-tao, mga sumasamba sa diyus-diyosan, at ang bawat mahilig gumawa ng kasinungalingan.

16 “Akong (I) si Jesus ang nagsugo ng aking anghel sa inyo upang magpatotoo sa mga bagay na ito sa harap ng mga iglesya. Ako ang ugat at ang supling ni David, ang maningning na tala sa umaga.”

17 Sinasabi (J) ng Espiritu at ng babaing ikakasal, “Halika.”
Magsabi ang bawat nakikinig, “Halika.”
Lumapit ang nauuhaw.
Ang sinumang may nais ay kumuha ng tubig ng buhay nang walang bayad.

18 Binabalaan (K) ko ang sinumang nakikinig sa mga salita ng propesiya ng aklat na ito: sinumang magdagdag sa mga ito, idadagdag ng Diyos sa kanya ang mga salot na nakasulat sa aklat na ito; 19 at sinumang magbawas mula sa mga salita ng aklat ng propesiyang ito, babawasin ng Diyos ang kanyang bahagi sa puno ng buhay at sa banal na lungsod, na nakasulat sa aklat na ito.

20 Ang nagpapatotoo sa mga bagay na ito ay nagsasabi, “Oo, malapit na akong dumating.”[a]

Amen. Dumating ka nawa, Panginoong Jesus! 21 Pagpalain nawa ng Panginoong Jesus ang lahat. Amen.

22 (A)Poi mi mostrò il fiume[a] dell’acqua della vita, limpido come cristallo, che scaturiva dal trono di Dio e dell’Agnello. 2 In mezzo alla piazza della città e sulle due rive del fiume stava l’albero della vita. Esso dà dodici raccolti all’anno, porta il suo frutto ogni mese e le foglie dell’albero sono per la guarigione delle nazioni. 3 Non ci sarà più nulla di maledetto. Nella città vi sarà il trono di Dio e dell’Agnello; i suoi servi lo serviranno, 4 vedranno la sua faccia e porteranno il suo nome scritto sulla fronte. 5 Non ci sarà più notte; non avranno bisogno di luce di lampada, né di luce del sole[b], perché il Signore Dio li illuminerà e regneranno nei secoli dei secoli.

6 (B)Poi mi disse: «Queste parole sono fedeli e veritiere; e il Signore, il Dio degli spiriti dei profeti[c], ha mandato il suo angelo per mostrare ai suoi servi ciò che deve accadere tra poco».

7 «Ecco, io vengo presto. Beato chi custodisce le parole della profezia di questo libro».

8 Io, Giovanni, sono quello che ha udito e visto queste cose. E, dopo averle viste e udite, mi prostrai ai piedi dell’angelo che me le aveva mostrate, per adorarlo. 9 Ma egli mi disse: «Guàrdati dal farlo; io sono[d] un servo come te e come i tuoi fratelli, i profeti, e come quelli che custodiscono le parole di questo libro. Adora Dio!»

10 Poi mi disse: «Non sigillare le parole della profezia di questo libro, perché il tempo è vicino. 11 Chi è ingiusto continui a praticare l’ingiustizia; chi è impuro continui a essere impuro; e chi è giusto continui a praticare la giustizia[e], e chi è santo si santifichi ancora».

12 «Ecco, io vengo presto e con me avrò la mia ricompensa da dare a ciascuno secondo le sue opere. 13 Io sono l’alfa e l’omega, il primo e l’ultimo[f], il principio e la fine. 14 Beati quelli che lavano le loro vesti[g] per aver diritto all’albero della vita e per entrare per le porte della città! 15 Fuori i cani[h], gli stregoni, i fornicatori, gli omicidi, gli idolatri e chiunque ama e pratica la menzogna. 16 Io, Gesù, ho mandato il mio angelo per attestarvi queste cose in seno alle chiese. Io sono la radice e la discendenza di Davide, la lucente stella del mattino».

17 (C)Lo Spirito e la sposa dicono: «Vieni!» E chi ode, dica: «Vieni!» Chi ha sete, venga; chi vuole, prenda in dono dell’acqua della vita.

18 Io lo dichiaro a chiunque ode le parole della profezia di questo libro: se qualcuno vi aggiunge qualcosa, Dio aggiungerà ai suoi mali i flagelli descritti in questo libro; 19 se qualcuno toglie qualcosa dalle parole del libro di questa profezia, Dio gli toglierà la sua parte dell’albero della vita[i] e della santa città che sono descritti[j] in questo libro.

20 Colui che attesta queste cose, dice: «Sì, vengo presto!» Amen! Vieni, Signore Gesù![k]

21 La grazia del Signore[l] Gesù [Cristo] sia con tutti[m]. [Amen.]

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

22 Then the angel showed me the river(A) of the water of life,(B) as clear as crystal,(C) flowing(D) from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life,(E) bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.(F) 3 No longer will there be any curse.(G) The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.(H) 4 They will see his face,(I) and his name will be on their foreheads.(J) 5 There will be no more night.(K) They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light.(L) And they will reign for ever and ever.(M)

John and the Angel

6 The angel said to me,(N) “These words are trustworthy and true.(O) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,(P) sent his angel(Q) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

7 “Look, I am coming soon!(R) Blessed(S) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”(T)

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.(U) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet(V) of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.(W) Worship God!”(X)

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up(Y) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,(Z) because the time is near.(AA) 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”(AB)

Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

12 “Look, I am coming soon!(AC) My reward is with me,(AD) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.(AE) 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega,(AF) the First and the Last,(AG) the Beginning and the End.(AH)

14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes,(AI) that they may have the right to the tree of life(AJ) and may go through the gates(AK) into the city.(AL) 15 Outside(AM) are the dogs,(AN) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus,(AO) have sent my angel(AP) to give you[a] this testimony for the churches.(AQ) I am the Root(AR) and the Offspring of David,(AS) and the bright Morning Star.”(AT)

17 The Spirit(AU) and the bride(AV) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.(AW)

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:(AX) If anyone adds anything to them,(AY) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.(AZ) 19 And if anyone takes words away(BA) from this scroll of prophecy,(BB) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life(BC) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20 He who testifies to these things(BD) says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”(BE)

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.(BF)

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people.(BG) Amen.
