¹⁷ Moses and Aaron went and got the men whose names had been given to them. ¹⁸ Then Moses and Aaron gathered all the men of Israel together. It was the first day of the second month. The people wrote down the tribe and family they belonged to. The men 20 years old or more were listed by name. They were listed one by one.
