Ang Diyos at ang Kanyang Bayan(A)
105 O magpasalamat kayo sa Panginoon, kayo'y magsitawag sa kanyang pangalan;
ipabatid ninyo ang kanyang mga gawa sa mga bayan!
2 Umawit kayo sa kanya, umawit kayo sa kanya ng mga papuri;
sabihin ninyo ang lahat niyang kahanga-hangang mga gawa!
3 Lumuwalhati kayo sa kanyang banal na pangalan;
magagalak ang puso nila na nagsisihanap sa Panginoon.
4 Hanapin ninyo ang Panginoon at ang kanyang kalakasan;
patuloy ninyong hanapin ang kanyang mukha!
5 Alalahanin ninyo ang mga kahanga-hangang gawa na kanyang ginawa;
ang kanyang mga kababalaghan at ang mga kahatulan ng kanyang bibig,
6 O kayong binhi ni Abraham na lingkod niya,
mga anak ni Jacob, na mga pinili niya!
7 Siya ang Panginoon nating Diyos;
ang kanyang mga kahatulan ay nasa buong lupa.
8 Kanyang inaalala ang kanyang tipan magpakailanman,
ang salita na kanyang iniutos sa libong salinlahi,
9 ang(B) tipan na kanyang ginawa kay Abraham,
ang kanyang sinumpaang pangako kay Isaac,
10 na(C) kanyang pinagtibay kay Jacob bilang isang tuntunin,
sa Israel bilang isang walang hanggang tipan,
11 na sinasabi, “Sa iyo'y ibibigay ko ang lupain ng Canaan,
bilang iyong bahaging pinakamana.”
12 Nang sila'y iilan lamang sa bilang;
at totoong kakaunti, at doon ay mga dayuhan;
13 na gumagala mula sa isang bansa tungo sa isang bansa,
mula sa isang kaharian hanggang sa ibang bayan.
14 Hindi(D) niya pinahintulutan ang sinuman na sila ay pagmalupitan;
sinaway niya ang mga hari alang-alang sa kanilang sarili:
15 “Huwag ninyong galawin ang aking mga pinahiran;
ang aking mga propeta ay huwag ninyong sasaktan.”
16 At(E) siya'y nagdala ng taggutom sa lupain;
binali niya ang bawat tungkod ng tinapay,
17 siya'y(F) nagsugo ng isang lalaki sa unahan nila,
si Jose na ipinagbili bilang alipin.
18 Ang(G) kanyang mga paa ay sinaktan ng mga tanikala,
siya'y nilagyan ng kuwelyo na bakal;
19 hanggang sa ang kanyang salita ay maganap;
siya ay sinubok ng salita ng Panginoon.
20 Ang(H) hari ay nagsugo at pinakawalan siya;
ang pinuno ng mga bayan, at siya'y pinalaya niya,
21 kanyang(I) ginawa siyang panginoon ng kanyang tahanan,
at pinuno ng lahat niyang ari-arian,
22 upang talian ang kanyang mga pinuno ayon sa kanyang nais,
at turuan ng karunungan ang kanyang matatanda.
23 At(J) ang Israel ay dumating sa Ehipto;
si Jacob ay nakipanirahan sa lupain ng Ham.
24 At(K) ginawang napakabunga ng Panginoon ang kanyang bayan,
at ginawa silang higit na malakas kaysa kanilang mga kaaway.
25 Kanyang ibinaling ang kanilang puso upang mapoot sa kanyang bayan,
upang makitungong may katusuhan sa kanyang mga lingkod.
26 Kanyang(L) sinugo si Moises na kanyang lingkod,
at si Aaron na kanyang pinili.
27 Kanilang isinagawa ang kanyang kahanga-hangang gawa sa gitna nila,
at mga kababalaghan sa lupain ng Ham.
28 Siya'y(M) nagsugo ng mga kadiliman, at nagpadilim,
sila'y hindi naghimagsik laban sa kanyang mga salita.
29 Kanyang(N) ginawang dugo ang kanilang tubig,
at pinatay ang kanilang mga isda.
30 Ang(O) kanilang lupain ay napuno ng mga palaka,
maging sa mga silid-tulugan ng kanilang mga hari.
31 Siya'y(P) nagsalita, at dumating ang mga pulutong na mga langaw,
at mga niknik sa buong bayan.
32 Binigyan(Q) niya sila ng yelo bilang ulan,
at liyab ng apoy sa kanilang lupain.
33 Pinatay niya ang kanilang mga puno ng ubas at mga puno ng igos,
at winasak ang mga punungkahoy sa kanilang lupain.
34 Siya'y(R) nagsalita at ang mga balang ay nagsidating,
ang mga batang balang na di kayang bilangin,
35 na kinain ang lahat ng pananim sa kanilang lupain,
at kinain ang bunga ng kanilang lupain.
36 Pinagpapatay(S) din niya ang lahat ng panganay sa kanilang lupain,
ang unang bunga ng lahat nilang kalakasan.
37 At(T) kanyang inilabas sila na may pilak at ginto;
at walang sinuman sa kanyang mga lipi ang natisod.
38 Natuwa ang Ehipto nang sila'y magsialis;
sapagkat ang pagkatakot nila ay dumating sa kanila.
39 Kanyang(U) inilatag ang ulap bilang panakip,
at apoy upang magbigay liwanag sa gabi.
40 Sila'y(V) humingi, at dinalhan niya ng mga pugo,
at binigyan niya sila ng saganang tinapay mula sa langit.
41 Kanyang(W) binuksan ang bato at dumaloy ang tubig;
ito'y umagos sa ilang na gaya ng ilog.
42 Sapagkat naalala niya ang kanyang banal na salita,
at si Abraham na kanyang lingkod.
43 At kanyang inilabas na may kagalakan ang kanyang bayan,
at ang kanyang hinirang na may pag-aawitan.
44 At(X) ibinigay niya sa kanila ang mga lupain ng mga bansa;
at inangkin nila ang paggawa ng mga tao,
45 upang kanilang ingatan ang kanyang mga tuntunin,
at ang kanyang mga kautusan ay sundin.

13 At sila'y nagsiyaon sa bansa at bansa, mula sa isang kaharian hanggang sa ibang bayan.
14 Hindi niya tiniis ang sinomang tao na gawan sila ng kamalian; Oo, kaniyang sinaway ang mga hari dahil sa kanila;
15 Na sinasabi, Huwag ninyong galawin ang mga pinahiran ko ng langis. At huwag ninyong gawan ng masama ang mga propeta ko.
16 At siya'y nagdala ng kagutom sa lupain; kaniyang binali ang buong tukod ng tinapay.
17 Siya'y nagsugo ng isang lalake sa unahan nila; si Jose ay naipagbiling pinakaalipin:
18 Ang kaniyang mga paa ay sinaktan nila ng mga pangpangaw; siya'y nalagay sa mga tanikalang bakal:
19 Hanggang sa panahon na nangyari ang kaniyang salita; tinikman siya ng salita ng Panginoon.
20 Ang hari ay nagsugo, at pinawalan siya; sa makatuwid baga'y ang pinuno ng mga bayan, at pinalaya niya siya.
21 Ginawa niya siyang panginoon sa kaniyang bahay, at pinuno sa lahat niyang pag-aari:
22 Upang talian ang kaniyang mga pangulo sa kaniyang kaligayahan, at turuan ang kaniyang mga kasangguni ng karunungan.
23 Si Israel naman ay nasok sa Egipto; at si Jacob ay nakipamayan sa lupain ng Cham.
24 At kaniyang pinalagong mainam ang kaniyang bayan, at pinalakas sila kay sa kanilang mga kaaway.
25 Kaniyang pinapanumbalik ang kanilang puso upang mangagtanim sa kaniyang bayan, upang magsigawang may katusuhan sa kaniyang mga lingkod.
26 Kaniyang sinugo si Moises na kaniyang lingkod, at si Aaron na kaniyang hirang.
27 Kanilang inilagay sa gitna nila ang kaniyang mga tanda, at mga kababalaghan sa lupain ng Cham.
28 Siya'y nagsugo ng mga kadiliman, at nagpadilim; at sila'y hindi nagsipanghimagsik laban sa kaniyang mga salita.
29 Kaniyang pinapaging dugo ang kanilang tubig, at pinatay ang kanilang mga isda.
30 Ang kanilang lupain ay binukalan ng mga palaka, sa mga silid ng kanilang mga hari.
31 Siya'y nagsalita, at dumating ang mga pulutong na mga langaw, at kuto sa lahat ng kanilang mga hangganan.
32 Ibinigay niya sa kanila na pinakaulan ay graniso, at liyab ng apoy sa kanilang lupain.
33 Sinaktan naman niya ang kanilang mga puno ng ubas, at ang kanilang mga puno ng higos; at binali ang mga punong kahoy ng kanilang mga hangganan.
34 Siya'y nagsalita at ang mga balang ay nagsidating, at ang mga higad, ay yao'y walang bilang,
35 At kinain ang lahat na gugulayin sa kanilang lupain, at kinain ang bunga ng kanilang lupa.
36 Sinaktan din niya ang lahat na panganay sa kanilang lupain, ang puno ng lahat nilang kalakasan.
37 At kaniyang inilabas sila na may pilak at ginto: at hindi nagkaroon ng mahinang tao sa kaniyang mga lipi.
38 Natuwa ang Egipto nang sila'y magsialis; sapagka't ang takot sa kanila ay nahulog sa kanila.
39 Kaniyang inilatag ang ulap na pinakakubong; at apoy upang magbigay liwanag sa gabi,
40 Sila'y nagsihingi, at dinalhan niya ng mga pugo, at binusog niya sila ng pagkain na mula sa langit.
41 Kaniyang ibinuka ang bato at binukalan ng tubig; nagsiagos sa tuyong mga dako na parang ilog.
42 Sapagka't kaniyang naalaala ang kaniyang banal na salita, at si Abraham na kaniyang lingkod.
43 At kaniyang inilabas ang kaniyang bayan na may kagalakan, at ang kaniyang hirang na may awitan.
44 At ibinigay niya sa kanila ang mga lupain ng mga bansa; at kinuha nila ang gawa ng mga bayan na pinakaari:
45 Upang kanilang maingatan ang kaniyang mga palatuntunan, at sundin ang kaniyang mga kautusan. Purihin ninyo ang Panginoon.

1 Give praise to the Lord,(B) proclaim his name;(C)
make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him,(D) sing praise to him;(E)
tell of all his wonderful acts.(F)
3 Glory in his holy name;(G)
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face(H) always.
5 Remember the wonders(I) he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,(J)
6 you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,(K)
his chosen(L) ones, the children of Jacob.
7 He is the Lord our God;
his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers his covenant(M) forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
9 the covenant he made with Abraham,(N)
the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 He confirmed it(O) to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:(P)
11 “To you I will give the land of Canaan(Q)
as the portion you will inherit.”(R)
12 When they were but few in number,(S)
few indeed, and strangers in it,(T)
13 they wandered from nation to nation,(U)
from one kingdom to another.
14 He allowed no one to oppress(V) them;
for their sake he rebuked kings:(W)
15 “Do not touch(X) my anointed ones;
do my prophets(Y) no harm.”
16 He called down famine(Z) on the land
and destroyed all their supplies of food;
17 and he sent a man before them—
Joseph, sold as a slave.(AA)
18 They bruised his feet with shackles,(AB)
his neck was put in irons,
19 till what he foretold(AC) came to pass,
till the word(AD) of the Lord proved him true.
20 The king sent and released him,
the ruler of peoples set him free.(AE)
21 He made him master of his household,

24 The Lord made his people very fruitful;

26 He sent Moses(AN) his servant,

for had they not rebelled against(AU) his words?

ate up the produce of their soil.

the firstfruits of all their manhood.
37 He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold,(BJ)
and from among their tribes no one faltered.
38 Egypt was glad when they left,
because dread of Israel(BK) had fallen on them.
39 He spread out a cloud(BL) as a covering,
and a fire to give light at night.(BM)

Call on his name.
Make known his accomplishments among the nations.
2 Sing to him.
Make music to him.
Tell about all his miraculous deeds.
3 Boast about his holy name.
Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 Seek the Lord and the strength he gives.
Seek his presence continually.
5 Recall the miraculous deeds he performed,
his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed,[b]
6 O children[c] of Abraham,[d] God’s[e] servant,
you descendants[f] of Jacob, God’s[g] chosen ones.
7 He is the Lord our God;
he carries out judgment throughout the earth.[h]
8 He always remembers his covenantal decree,
the promise he made[i] to a thousand generations—
9 the promise[j] he made to Abraham,
the promise he made by oath to Isaac.
10 He gave it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as a lasting promise,[k]
11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan
as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 When they were few in number,
just a very few, and resident foreigners within it,
13 they wandered from nation to nation,
and from one kingdom to another.[l]
14 He let no one oppress them;
he disciplined kings for their sake,
15 saying,[m] “Don’t touch my chosen ones.[n]
Don’t harm my prophets.”
16 He called down a famine upon the earth;
he cut off all the food supply.[o]

Joseph was sold as a servant.
18 The shackles hurt his feet;[q]
his neck was placed in an iron collar,[r]
19 until the time when his prediction[s] came true.

the ruler of nations set him free.
21 He put him in charge of his palace,[w]
and made him manager of all his property,
22 giving him authority to imprison his officials[x]

23 Israel moved to[z] Egypt;
Jacob lived for a time[aa] in the land of Ham.
24 The Lord[ab] made his people very fruitful,
and made them[ac] more numerous than their[ad] enemies.

26 He sent his servant Moses,
and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 They executed his miraculous signs among them,[ag]
and his amazing deeds in the land of Ham.

Moses and Aaron did not disobey his orders.[ai]
29 He turned the Egyptians’ water into blood,
and killed their fish.
30 Their land was overrun by frogs,
which even got into the rooms of their kings.
31 He ordered flies to come;[aj]
gnats invaded their whole territory.
32 He sent hail along with the rain;[ak]
there was lightning in their land.[al]
33 He destroyed their vines and fig trees,
and broke the trees throughout their territory.
34 He ordered locusts to come,[am]
innumerable grasshoppers.
35 They ate all the vegetation in their land,

none of his tribes stumbled.
38 Egypt was happy when they left,
for they were afraid of them.[ar]

a river ran through dry regions.

he made to Abraham his servant.

44 He handed the territory of nations over to them,

45 so that they might keep his commands

105 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
