The Triumphal Entry
21 (A)And when they had approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, at (B)the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.” 4 (C)And this [a]took place in order that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,
5 “(D)Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and mounted on a donkey,
And on a colt, the foal of a pack animal.’”
6 And the disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, 7 and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their garments on them; and He sat on [b]the garments. 8 And most of the crowd (E)spread their garments in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. 9 And the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were crying out, saying,
“Hosanna to the (F)Son of David;
(G)Blessed is He who comes in the name of the [c]Lord;
Hosanna (H)in the highest!”
10 And when He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds were saying, “This is (I)the prophet Jesus, from (J)Nazareth in Galilee.”
Cleansing the Temple
12 (K)And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the (L)money changers and the seats of those who were selling (M)doves. 13 And He *said to them, “It is written, ‘(N)My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a (O)robbers’ [d]den.”
14 And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and (P)He healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the marvelous things which He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, saying, “Hosanna to the (Q)Son of David,” they became indignant 16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus *said to them, “Yes; have you never read, ‘(R)Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?” 17 And He left them and went out of the city to (S)Bethany, and spent the night there.
The Barren Fig Tree
18 (T)Now in the morning, when He was returning to the city, He became hungry. 19 And seeing a lone (U)fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He *said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.
20 And seeing this, the disciples marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither all at once?” 21 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, (V)if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. 22 And (W)all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
The Authority of Jesus Challenged
23 (X)And when He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him (Y)while He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?” 24 And Jesus answered and said to them, “I will also ask you one [e]thing, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John was from what source, from heaven or from men?” And they began reasoning among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ 26 But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the crowd; for they all regard John as (Z)a prophet.” 27 And they answered Jesus and said, “We do not know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Parable of Two Sons
28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the (AA)vineyard.’ 29 And he answered and said, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 And the man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered and said, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They *said, “The first.” Jesus *said to them, “Truly I say to you that (AB)the tax collectors and prostitutes [f]will get into the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but (AC)the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even regret afterward so as to believe him.
Parable of the Vine-Growers
33 “Listen to another parable. (AD)There was a [g]landowner who (AE)planted a (AF)vineyard and put a [h]wall around it and dug a wine press in it, and built a tower, and rented it out to [i]vine-growers and (AG)went on a journey. 34 Now when the [j]harvest time approached, he (AH)sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his fruit. 35 And the vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third. 36 Again he (AI)sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them. 37 But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 And they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 Therefore when the [k]owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?” 41 They *said to Him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and (AJ)will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.”
42 Jesus *said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures,
‘(AK)The stone which the builders rejected,
This has become the chief corner stone;
This came about from the [l]Lord,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?
43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation, producing the fruit of it. 44 And (AL)he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”
45 And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He *was speaking about them. 46 And although they were seeking to seize Him, they (AM)feared the crowds, because they were regarding Him to be a (AN)prophet.

La entrada triunfal en Jerusalén
(Mr. 11.1-11; Lc. 19.28-40; Jn. 12.12-19)
21 Cuando se acercaron a Jerusalén, y vinieron a Betfagé, al monte de los Olivos, Jesús envió dos discípulos, 2 diciéndoles: Id a la aldea que está enfrente de vosotros, y luego hallaréis una asna atada, y un pollino con ella; desatadla, y traédmelos. 3 Y si alguien os dijere algo, decid: El Señor los necesita; y luego los enviará. 4 Todo esto aconteció para que se cumpliese lo dicho por el profeta, cuando dijo:
5 Decid a la hija de Sion:
He aquí, tu Rey viene a ti,
Manso, y sentado sobre una asna,
Sobre un pollino, hijo de animal de carga.(A)
6 Y los discípulos fueron, e hicieron como Jesús les mandó; 7 y trajeron el asna y el pollino, y pusieron sobre ellos sus mantos; y él se sentó encima. 8 Y la multitud, que era muy numerosa, tendía sus mantos en el camino; y otros cortaban ramas de los árboles, y las tendían en el camino. 9 Y la gente que iba delante y la que iba detrás aclamaba, diciendo: ¡Hosanna(B) al Hijo de David! ¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor!(C) ¡Hosanna en las alturas! 10 Cuando entró él en Jerusalén, toda la ciudad se conmovió, diciendo: ¿Quién es este? 11 Y la gente decía: Este es Jesús el profeta, de Nazaret de Galilea.
Purificación del templo

12 Y entró Jesús en el templo de Dios, y echó fuera a todos los que vendían y compraban en el templo, y volcó las mesas de los cambistas, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas; 13 y les dijo: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración será llamada;(D) mas vosotros la habéis hecho cueva de ladrones.(E)
14 Y vinieron a él en el templo ciegos y cojos, y los sanó. 15 Pero los principales sacerdotes y los escribas, viendo las maravillas que hacía, y a los muchachos aclamando en el templo y diciendo: ¡Hosanna al Hijo de David! se indignaron, 16 y le dijeron: ¿Oyes lo que estos dicen? Y Jesús les dijo: Sí; ¿nunca leísteis:
De la boca de los niños y de los que maman
Perfeccionaste la alabanza?(F)
17 Y dejándolos, salió fuera de la ciudad, a Betania, y posó allí.
Maldición de la higuera estéril
(Mr. 11.12-14,20-26)
18 Por la mañana, volviendo a la ciudad, tuvo hambre. 19 Y viendo una higuera cerca del camino, vino a ella, y no halló nada en ella, sino hojas solamente; y le dijo: Nunca jamás nazca de ti fruto. Y luego se secó la higuera. 20 Viendo esto los discípulos, decían maravillados: ¿Cómo es que se secó en seguida la higuera? 21 Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: De cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe, y no dudareis, no solo haréis esto de la higuera, sino que si a este monte dijereis: Quítate y échate en el mar, será hecho.(G) 22 Y todo lo que pidiereis en oración, creyendo, lo recibiréis.
La autoridad de Jesús
(Mr. 11.27-33; Lc. 20.1-8)
23 Cuando vino al templo, los principales sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo se acercaron a él mientras enseñaba, y le dijeron: ¿Con qué autoridad haces estas cosas? ¿y quién te dio esta autoridad? 24 Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Yo también os haré una pregunta, y si me la contestáis, también yo os diré con qué autoridad hago estas cosas. 25 El bautismo de Juan, ¿de dónde era? ¿Del cielo, o de los hombres? Ellos entonces discutían entre sí, diciendo: Si decimos, del cielo, nos dirá: ¿Por qué, pues, no le creísteis? 26 Y si decimos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo; porque todos tienen a Juan por profeta. 27 Y respondiendo a Jesús, dijeron: No sabemos. Y él también les dijo: Tampoco yo os digo con qué autoridad hago estas cosas.
Parábola de los dos hijos
28 Pero ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y acercándose al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy a trabajar en mi viña. 29 Respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; pero después, arrepentido, fue. 30 Y acercándose al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Sí, señor, voy. Y no fue. 31 ¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dijeron ellos: El primero. Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras van delante de vosotros al reino de Dios. 32 Porque vino a vosotros Juan en camino de justicia, y no le creísteis; pero los publicanos y las rameras le creyeron;(H) y vosotros, viendo esto, no os arrepentisteis después para creerle.
Los labradores malvados
(Mr. 12.1-12; Lc. 20.9-19)
33 Oíd otra parábola: Hubo un hombre, padre de familia, el cual plantó una viña,(I) la cercó de vallado, cavó en ella un lagar, edificó una torre, y la arrendó a unos labradores, y se fue lejos. 34 Y cuando se acercó el tiempo de los frutos, envió sus siervos a los labradores, para que recibiesen sus frutos. 35 Mas los labradores, tomando a los siervos, a uno golpearon, a otro mataron, y a otro apedrearon. 36 Envió de nuevo otros siervos, más que los primeros; e hicieron con ellos de la misma manera. 37 Finalmente les envió su hijo, diciendo: Tendrán respeto a mi hijo. 38 Mas los labradores, cuando vieron al hijo, dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y apoderémonos de su heredad. 39 Y tomándole, le echaron fuera de la viña, y le mataron. 40 Cuando venga, pues, el señor de la viña, ¿qué hará a aquellos labradores? 41 Le dijeron: A los malos destruirá sin misericordia, y arrendará su viña a otros labradores, que le paguen el fruto a su tiempo.
42 Jesús les dijo: ¿Nunca leísteis en las Escrituras:
La piedra que desecharon los edificadores,
Ha venido a ser cabeza del ángulo.
El Señor ha hecho esto,
Y es cosa maravillosa a nuestros ojos?(J)
43 Por tanto os digo, que el reino de Dios será quitado de vosotros, y será dado a gente que produzca los frutos de él. 44 Y el que cayere sobre esta piedra será quebrantado; y sobre quien ella cayere, le desmenuzará.
45 Y oyendo sus parábolas los principales sacerdotes y los fariseos, entendieron que hablaba de ellos. 46 Pero al buscar cómo echarle mano, temían al pueblo, porque este le tenía por profeta.

21 وَلَمَّا اقْتَرَبُوا مِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَوَصَلُوا إِلَى قَرْيَةِ بَيْتِ فَاجِي عِنْدَ جَبَلِ الزَّيْتُونِ، أَرْسَلَ يَسُوعُ اثْنَيْنِ مِنْ تَلامِيذِهِ، 2 قَائِلاً لَهُمَا: «ادْخُلا الْقَرْيَةَ الْمُقَابِلَةَ لَكُمَا، تَجِدَا فِي الْحَالِ أَتَاناً مَرْبُوطَةً وَمَعَهَا جَحْشٌ، فَحُلّا رِبَاطَهُمَا وَأَحْضِرَاهُمَا إِلَيَّ. 3 فَإِنِ اعْتَرَضَكُمَا أَحَدٌ، قُولا: الرَّبُّ بِحَاجَةٍ إِلَيْهِمَا. وَفِي الْحَالِ يُرْسِلُهُمَا». 4 وَقَدْ حَدَثَ هَذَا لِيَتِمَّ مَا قِيلَ بِلِسَانِ النَّبِيِّ الْقَائِلِ: 5 «بَشِّرُوا ابْنَةَ صِهْيَوْنَ: هَا هُوَ مَلِكُكِ قَادِمٌ إِلَيْكِ وَدِيعاً يَرْكَبُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ وَجَحْشٍ ابْنِ أَتَانٍ!» 6 فَذَهَبَ التِّلْمِيذَانِ، وَفَعَلا مَا أَمَرَهُمَا بِهِ يَسُوعُ، 7 فَأَحْضَرَا الأَتَانَ وَالْجَحْشَ، وَوَضَعَا عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابَهُمَا، فَرَكِبَ. 8 وَأَخَذَ جَمْعٌ كَبِيرٌ جِدّاً يَفْرُشُونَ الطَّرِيقَ بِثِيَابِهِمْ، وَأَخَذَ آخَرُونَ يَقْطَعُونَ أَغْصَانَ الشَّجَرِ وَيَفْرُشُونَ بِها الطَّرِيقَ. 9 وَكَانَتِ الْجُمُوعُ الَّتِي تَقَدَّمَتْ يَسُوعَ وَالَّتِي مَشَتْ خَلْفَهُ تَهْتِفُ قَائِلَةً: «أُوصَنَّا لاِبْنِ دَاوُدَ! مُبَارَكٌ الآتِي بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ! أُوصَنَّا فِي الأَعَالِي!» 10 وَلَمَّا دَخَلَ يَسُوعُ أُورُشَلِيمَ، ضَجَّتِ الْمَدِينَةُ كُلُّهَا، وَتَسَاءَلَ أَهْلُهَا: «مَنْ هُوَ هَذَا؟» 11 فَأَجَابَتِ الْجُمُوعُ: «هَذَا هُوَ يَسُوعُ النَّبِيُّ الَّذِي مِنَ النَّاصِرَةِ بِالْجَلِيلِ».

12 ثُمَّ دَخَلَ يَسُوعُ الْهَيْكَلَ، وَطَرَدَ مِنْ سَاحَتِهِ جَمِيعَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يَبِيعُونَ وَيَشْتَرُونَ؛ وَقَلَبَ مَوَائِدَ الصَّيَارِفَةِ وَمَقَاعِدَ بَاعَةِ الْحَمَامِ. 13 وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «مَكْتُوبٌ: إِنَّ بَيْتِي بَيْتاً لِلصَّلاةِ يُدْعَى. أَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَجَعَلْتُمُوهُ مَغَارَةَ لُصُوصٍ!» 14 وَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ فِي الْهَيْكَلِ، تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ عُمْيٌ وَعُرْجٌ، فَشَفَاهُمْ. 15 فَتَضَايَقَ رُؤَسَاءُ الْكَهَنَةِ، وَالْكَتَبَةُ، عِنْدَمَا رَأَوْا الْعَجَائِبَ الَّتِي أَجْرَاهَا، وَالأَوْلادَ فِي الْهَيْكَلِ يَهْتِفُونَ: «أُوْصَنَّا لاِبْنِ دَاوُدَ!» 16 فَسَأَلُوهُ: «أَتَسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُهُ هؤُلاءِ؟» فَأَجَابَهُمْ يَسُوعُ: «نَعَمْ! أَلَمْ تَقْرَأُوا قَطُّ: مِنْ أَفْوَاهِ الأَطْفَالِ وَالرُّضَّعِ أَعْدَدْتَ تَسْبِيحاً؟» 17 ثُمَّ فَارَقَهُمْ وَانْطَلَقَ خَارِجاً مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى قَرْيَةِ بَيْتَ عَنْيَا، وَبَاتَ فِيهَا.
شجرة التين تيبس
18 وَفِي صَبَاحِ الْيَوْمِ التَّالِي، وَهُوَ رَاجِعٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، جَاعَ. 19 وَإِذْ رَأَى شَجَرَةَ تِينٍ عَلَى جَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ اتَّجَهَ إِلَيْهَا، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَجِدْ عَلَيْهَا إِلّا الْوَرَقَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: «لا يَكُنْ مِنْكِ ثَمَرٌ بَعْدُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ!» فَيَبِسَتِ التِّينَةُ فِي الْحَالِ. 20 فَلَمَّا رَأَى التَّلامِيذُ ذَلِكَ، دُهِشُوا وَقَالُوا: «مَا أَسْرَعَ مَا يَبِسَتِ التِّينَةُ!» 21 فَأَجَابَهُمْ: «الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ إِيمَانٌ وَلا تَشُكُّونَ، فَإِنَّكُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ لَا مِثْلَ مَا عَمِلْتُ بِالتِّينَةِ وَحَسْبُ، بَلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَقُولُونَ لِهَذَا الْجَبَلِ: انْقَلِعْ وَانْطَرِحْ فِي الْبَحْرِ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْدُثُ. 22 وَكُلُّ مَا تَطْلُبُونَهُ فِي الصَّلاةِ بِإِيمَانٍ، تَنَالُونَهُ».
سؤال عن سلطة يسوع
23 وَلَمَّا وصَلَ إِلَى الْهَيْكَلِ وَأَخَذَ يُعَلِّمُ، تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ رُؤَسَاءُ الْكَهَنَةِ وَشُيُوخُ الشَّعْبِ، وَسَأَلُوهُ: «بِأَيَّةِ سُلْطَةٍ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَفْعَلُهُ؟ وَمَنْ مَنَحَكَ هَذِهِ السُّلْطَةَ؟» 24 فَأَجَابَهُمْ يَسُوعُ قَائِلاً: «وَأَنَا أَيْضاً أَسْأَلُكُمْ أَمْراً وَاحِداً، فَإِنْ أَجَبْتُمُونِي، أَقُولُ لَكُمْ أَنَا أَيْضَاً بِأَيَّةِ سُلْطَةٍ أَفْعَلُ مَا أَفْعَلُهُ: 25 مِنْ أَيْنَ كَانَتْ مَعْمُودِيَّةُ يُوحَنَّا؟ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَمْ مِنَ النَّاسِ؟» فَتَشَاوَرُوا فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ قَائِلِينَ: «إِنْ قُلْنَا لَهُ إِنَّهَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، يَقُولُ لَنَا: فَلِمَاذَا لَمْ تُصَدِّقُوهُ؟ 26 وَإِنْ قُلْنَا: مِنَ النَّاسِ، نَخْشَى أَنْ يَثُورَ عَلَيْنَا جُمْهُورُ الشَّعْبِ، لأَنَّهُمْ كُلَّهُمْ يَعْتَبِرُونَ يُوحَنَّا نَبِيًّا». 27 فَأَجَابُوهُ: «لا نَدْرِي!» فَرَدَّ قَائِلاً: «وَلا أَنَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ بأَيَّةِ سُلْطَةٍ أَفْعَلُ مَا أَفْعَلُهُ».
مثل الابنين
28 «مَا رَأْيُكُمْ؟ كَانَ لإِنْسَانٍ وَلَدَانِ. فَقَصَدَ أَوَّلَهُمَا وَقَالَ لَهُ: يَا وَلَدِي، اذْهَبِ الْيَوْمَ وَاعْمَلْ فِي كَرْمِي! 29 فَأَجَابَ: لَا أُرِيدُ. وَلَكِنَّهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ نَدِمَ وَذَهَبَ. 30 ثُمَّ قَصَدَ الرَّجُلُ وَلَدَهُ الثَّانِي وَقَالَ لَهُ مَا قَالَهُ لِلأَوَّلِ. فَأَجَابَ: لَبَّيْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي! وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْهَبْ. 31 فَأَيُّ الاِثْنَيْنِ عَمِلَ بِإِرَادَةِ الأَبِ؟» فَقَالُوا: «الأَوَّلُ!» فَقَالَ لَهُمْ يَسُوعُ: «الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ جُبَاةَ الضَّرَائِبِ وَالزَّانِيَاتِ سَيَسْبِقُونَكُمْ فِي الدُّخُولِ إِلَى مَلَكُوتِ اللهِ. 32 فَقَدْ جَاءَ يُوحَنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ سَالِكاً طَرِيقَ الْحَقِّ، فَلَمْ تُصَدِّقُوهُ. أَمَّا جُبَاةُ الضَّرَائِبِ وَالزَّانِيَاتُ فَصَدَّقُوهُ. وَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ هَذَا، لَمْ تَنْدَمُوا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لِتُصَدِّقُوهُ!

33 اسْمَعُوا مَثَلاً آخَرَ: غَرَسَ إِنْسَانٌ رَبُّ بَيْتٍ كَرْماً، وَأَقَامَ حَوْلَهُ سُوراً، وَحَفَرَ فِيهِ مِعْصَرَةً، وَبَنَى فِيهِ بُرْجَ حِرَاسَةٍ. ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ الْكَرْمَ إِلَى مُزَارِعِينَ وَسَافَرَ. 34 وَلَمَّا حَانَ أَوَانُ الْحَصَادِ، أَرْسَلَ عَبِيدَهُ إِلَى الْمُزَارِعِينَ لِتَسَلُّمِ ثَمَرَ الْكَرْمِ. 35 فَقَبَضَ الْمُزَارِعُونَ عَلَى الْعَبِيدِ، فَضَرَبُوا أَحَدَهُمْ، وَقَتَلُوا غَيْرَهُ، وَرَجَمُوا الآخَرَ بِالْحِجَارَةِ. 36 ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ رَبُّ الْبَيْتِ ثَانِيَةً عَبِيداً آخَرِينَ أَكْثَرَ عَدَداً مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ. فَفَعَلَ الْمُزَارِعُونَ بِهَؤُلاءِ مَا فَعَلُوهُ بِأُولئِكَ. 37 وَأَخِيراً أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِمِ ابْنَهُ، قَائِلاً: سَيَهَابُونَ ابْنِي! 38 فَمَا إِنْ رَأَى الْمُزَارِعُونَ الاِبْنَ حَتَّى قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: هَذَا هُوَ الْوَرِيثُ! تَعَالَوْا نَقْتُلُهُ لِنَسْتَوْلِيَ عَلَى مِيرَاثِهِ. 39 ثُمَّ قَبَضُوا عَلَيْهِ، وَطَرَحُوهُ خَارِجَ الْكَرْمِ، وَقَتَلُوهُ! 40 فَعِنْدَمَا يَعُودُ رَبُّ الْكَرْمِ، مَاذَا يَفْعَلُ بِأُولئِكَ الْمُزَارِعِينَ؟» 41 أَجَابُوهُ: «أُولئِكَ الأَشْرَارُ، يُهْلِكُهُمْ شَرَّ هَلاكٍ. ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ الْكَرْمَ إِلَى مُزَارِعِينَ آخَرِينَ يُؤَدُّونَ لَهُ الثَّمَرَ فِي أَوَانِهِ». 42 فَقَالَ لَهُمْ يَسُوعُ: «أَلَمْ تَقْرَأُوا فِي الْكِتَابِ: الْحَجَرُ الَّذِي رَفَضَهُ الْبُنَاةُ، هُوَ نَفْسُهُ صَارَ حَجَرَ الزَّاوِيَةِ الأَسَاسَ. مِنَ الرَّبِّ كَانَ هَذَا، وَهُوَ عَجِيبٌ فِي أَنْظَارِنَا! 43 لِذلِكَ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ مَلَكُوتَ اللهِ سَيُنْزَعُ مِنْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُسَلَّمُ إِلَى شَعْبٍ يُؤَدِّي ثَمَرَهُ. 44 فَأَيُّ مَنْ يَقَعُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَجَرِ يَتَكَسَّرُ، وَمَنْ يَقَعُ الْحَجَرُ عَلَيْهِ يَسْحَقُهُ سَحْقاً!»
45 وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ رُؤَسَاءُ الْكَهَنَةِ وَالْفَرِّيسِيُّونَ الْمَثَلَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ ضَرَبَهُمَا يَسُوعُ، أَدْرَكُوا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَعْنِيهِمْ هُمْ. 46 وَمَعَ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَسْعَوْنَ إِلَى الْقَبْضِ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَدْ كَانُوا خَائِفِينَ مِنَ الْجُمُوعِ لأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَعْتَبِرُونَهُ نَبِيًّا.
