6 (A)“‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will (B)shepherd my people Israel.’”
23 And (A)I will set up over them one shepherd, (B)my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.24 And (C)I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. (D)I am the Lord; I have spoken.
The Lord's Covenant of Peace
25 (E)“I will make with them a covenant of peace and (F)banish wild beasts from the land, (G)so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
2 [a](A)But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of (B)Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be (C)ruler in Israel, (D)whose coming forth is (E)from of old, from ancient days.
6 (A)For to us a child is born, to us (B)a son is given; (C)and the government shall be (D)upon[a] his shoulder, and his name shall be called[b] Wonderful (E)Counselor, (F)Mighty God, (G)Everlasting (H)Father, Prince of (I)Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and of peace (J)there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it (K)with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. (L)The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
15 Then (A)the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and (B)there were loud voices in heaven, saying, (C)“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of (D)his Christ, and (E)he shall reign forever and ever.”
10 The (A)scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff (B)from between his feet, until tribute comes to him;[a] and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

27 and (A)he will (B)rule[a] them with a rod of iron, (C)as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.

(D)They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.25 (E)They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children shall dwell there (F)forever, and David my servant shall be their prince (G)forever.26 (H)I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be (I)an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land[a] and (J)multiply them, and will (K)set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.
