Die Aussendung der Jünger und die Auseinandersetzungen mit den Pharisäern (Kapitel 10–12)

Die zwölf Apostel (Markus 3,13‒19; Lukas 6,13‒16; Apostelgeschichte 1,13)

10 Dann rief Jesus seine zwölf Jünger zu sich und gab ihnen die Macht, böse Geister auszutreiben und alle Kranken und Leidenden zu heilen.

Das sind die Namen der zwölf Apostel: zuerst Simon, den man auch Petrus nannte, und sein Bruder Andreas; dann Jakobus und sein Bruder Johannes, die Söhne von Zebedäus; dazu Philippus und Bartholomäus; Thomas und Matthäus, der ehemalige Zolleinnehmer; Jakobus, der Sohn von Alphäus, und Thaddäus; Simon, der ehemalige Freiheitskämpfer, und Judas Iskariot, der Jesus später verriet.

Der Auftrag an die Apostel (Markus 6,7‒11; Lukas 9,1‒6; 10,3‒12)

Diese zwölf Jünger sandte Jesus aus und gab ihnen folgenden Auftrag: »Geht nicht zu den Nichtjuden oder in die Städte der Samariter, sondern geht nur zu den Menschen aus dem Volk Israel. Sie sind wie Schafe, die ohne ihren Hirten verloren umherirren. Ihnen sollt ihr diese Botschaft bringen: ›Gottes himmlisches Reich ist nahe!‹ Heilt Kranke, weckt Tote auf, macht Aussätzige gesund und treibt Dämonen aus!

Tut alles, ohne etwas dafür zu verlangen, denn ihr habt auch die Kraft dazu ohne Gegenleistung bekommen. Nehmt kein Geld mit auf die Reise, weder Goldstücke noch Silber- oder Kupfermünzen, 10 auch keine Tasche für unterwegs, kein zweites Hemd, keine Schuhe und keinen Wanderstock. Denn wer arbeitet, hat ein Recht darauf, dass man ihn versorgt.

11 Wenn ihr in eine Stadt oder in ein Dorf kommt, dann sucht jemanden, der willig[a] ist, euch aufzunehmen. Dort bleibt, bis ihr weiterzieht. 12 Wenn ihr in ein Haus eintretet, dann sagt: ›Friede sei mit euch!‹ 13 Wenn seine Bewohner euch und eure Botschaft annehmen,[b] so soll der Friede, den ihr bringt, in diesem Haus bleiben. Tun sie dies nicht, so wird der Friede sie wieder verlassen und zu euch zurückkehren.

14 Wenn ihr in einer Stadt oder in einem Haus nicht willkommen seid und man eure Botschaft nicht hören will, so geht fort und schüttelt den Staub von euren Füßen als Zeichen dafür, dass ihr die Stadt dem Urteil Gottes überlasst. 15 Ich versichere euch: Sodom und Gomorra wird es am Tag des Gerichts besser ergehen als einer solchen Stadt.«

Die Jünger müssen mit Widerstand rechnen (Markus 13,9‒13; Lukas 12,11‒12; 21,12‒19)

16 »Denkt daran: Ich schicke euch wie Schafe mitten unter die Wölfe. Seid klug wie Schlangen, und doch frei von Hinterlist wie Tauben. 17 Nehmt euch in Acht vor den Menschen! Denn sie werden euch vor die Gerichte zerren und euch in ihren Synagogen auspeitschen. 18 Weil ihr zu mir gehört, werdet ihr vor Machthabern und Königen verhört werden. Dort werdet ihr meine Botschaft bezeugen, damit alle Völker von mir erfahren.

19 Wenn sie euch vor Gericht bringen, dann sorgt euch nicht darum, was ihr sagen oder wie ihr euch verteidigen sollt! Denn zur rechten Zeit wird Gott euch das rechte Wort geben. 20 Nicht ihr werdet es sein, die Rede und Antwort stehen, sondern der Geist eures Vaters im Himmel wird durch euch sprechen.

21 Geschwister werden einander dem Henker ausliefern und Väter ihre eigenen Kinder hinrichten lassen. Und auch Kinder werden gegen ihre Eltern vorgehen und sie in den Tod schicken. 22 Alle Welt wird euch hassen, weil ihr euch zu mir bekennt. Aber wer bis zum Ende standhält, der wird gerettet.

23 Wenn man euch in der einen Stadt verfolgt, dann flieht in eine andere. Ich versichere euch: Noch ehe ihr meinen Auftrag in allen Städten Israels ausgeführt habt, wird der Menschensohn kommen.

24 Ein Schüler steht nicht über seinem Lehrer, und ein Diener hat es nicht besser als sein Herr. 25 Sie können zufrieden sein, wenn es ihnen genauso geht wie ihrem Lehrer oder ihrem Herrn. Wenn man aber den Herrn des Hauses schon einen ›Teufel‹[c] genannt hat, was werden sie erst zu seinen Angehörigen sagen?«

Habt keine Angst vor den Menschen! (Lukas 12,2‒9; Markus 8,38)

26 »Fürchtet euch nicht vor denen, die euch bedrohen! Denn nichts bleibt für immer verborgen, sondern eines Tages kommt die Wahrheit ans Licht, und dann werden alle Geheimnisse enthüllt. 27 Was ich euch im Dunkeln sage, das gebt am helllichten Tag weiter! Was ich euch ins Ohr flüstere, das ruft von den Dächern. 28 Habt keine Angst vor den Menschen, die zwar den Körper, aber nicht die Seele töten können! Fürchtet vielmehr Gott, der beide, Leib und Seele, dem ewigen Verderben in der Hölle ausliefern kann.

29 Welchen Wert hat schon ein Spatz? Man kann zwei von ihnen für einen Spottpreis kaufen. Trotzdem fällt keiner tot zur Erde, ohne dass euer Vater davon weiß. 30 Bei euch sind sogar die Haare auf dem Kopf alle gezählt. 31 Darum habt keine Angst! Ihr seid Gott mehr wert als ein ganzer Spatzenschwarm.

32 Wer sich vor den Menschen zu mir bekennt, zu dem werde ich mich auch vor meinem Vater im Himmel bekennen. 33 Wer aber vor den Menschen nicht zu mir steht, zu dem werde ich auch vor meinem Vater im Himmel nicht stehen.«

Konsequenzen der Nachfolge (Lukas 12,51‒53; 14,26‒27; Markus 8,34‒35; Johannes 12,25)

34 »Meint nur nicht, ich sei gekommen, um Frieden auf die Erde zu bringen. Nein, ich bringe Kampf!

35 Ich werde Vater und Sohn, Mutter und Tochter, Schwiegertochter und Schwiegermutter gegeneinander aufbringen.

36 Die eigenen Angehörigen werden zu Feinden![d]

37 Wer seinen Vater oder seine Mutter, seinen Sohn oder seine Tochter mehr liebt als mich, der ist es nicht wert, mein Jünger zu sein. 38 Und wer nicht bereit ist, sein Kreuz auf sich zu nehmen und mir nachzufolgen, der kann nicht zu mir gehören. 39 Wer sich an sein Leben klammert, der wird es verlieren. Wer aber sein Leben für mich aufgibt, der wird es für immer gewinnen.«

Nichts bleibt ohne Lohn (Markus 9,41; Lukas 10,16; Johannes 13,20)

40 »Wer euch aufnimmt, der nimmt mich auf, und wer mich aufnimmt, der nimmt Gott selbst auf, der mich gesandt hat. 41 Wer einen Propheten aufnimmt, weil Gott diesen beauftragt hat, der wird auch wie ein Prophet belohnt werden. Und wer einen Menschen aufnimmt, weil dieser nach Gottes Willen lebt, wird denselben Lohn wie dieser empfangen. 42 Wer einen meiner unbedeutendsten Jünger auch nur mit einem Schluck kaltem Wasser erfrischt, weil dieser zu mir gehört, der wird seinen Lohn auf jeden Fall erhalten. Das versichere ich euch!«

Sending Out the Twelve(F)

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: (G)“Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of (H)the Samaritans. (I)But go rather to the (J)lost sheep of the house of Israel. (K)And as you go, preach, saying, (L)‘The kingdom of heaven [c]is at hand.’ Heal the sick, [d]cleanse the lepers, [e]raise the dead, cast out demons. (M)Freely you have received, freely give. (N)Provide neither gold nor silver nor (O)copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; (P)for a worker is worthy of his food.

11 (Q)“Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 (R)If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. (S)But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 (T)And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, (U)shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, (V)it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!

Persecutions Are Coming(W)

16 (X)“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. (Y)Therefore be wise as serpents and (Z)harmless[f] as doves. 17 But beware of men, for (AA)they will deliver you up to councils and (AB)scourge you in their synagogues. 18 (AC)You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 (AD)But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For (AE)it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 (AF)for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

21 (AG)“Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22 And (AH)you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. (AI)But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23 (AJ)When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have (AK)gone through the cities of Israel (AL)before the Son of Man comes.

24 (AM)“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If (AN)they have called the master of the house [g]Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! 26 Therefore do not fear them. (AO)For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

Jesus Teaches the Fear of God(AP)

27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, (AQ)speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 (AR)And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather (AS)fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in [h]hell. 29 Are not two (AT)sparrows sold for a [i]copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 (AU)But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Confess Christ Before Men(AV)

32 (AW)“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, (AX)him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 (AY)But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Christ Brings Division(AZ)

34 (BA)“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to (BB)‘set[j] a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and (BC)‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 (BD)He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 (BE)And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 (BF)He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

A Cup of Cold Water(BG)

40 (BH)“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41 (BI)He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 (BJ)And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve(A)(B)(C)(D)(E)

10 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits(F) and to heal every disease and sickness.(G)

These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.(H)

These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.(I) Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.(J) As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven(K) has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

“Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts(L) 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep.(M) 11 Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave. 12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting.(N) 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.(O) 15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah(P) on the day of judgment(Q) than for that town.(R)

16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.(S) Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.(T) 17 Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils(U) and be flogged in the synagogues.(V) 18 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings(W) as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it.(X) At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father(Y) speaking through you.

21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents(Z) and have them put to death.(AA) 22 You will be hated by everyone because of me,(AB) but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.(AC) 23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.(AD)

24 “The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master.(AE) 25 It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants like their masters. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul,(AF) how much more the members of his household!

26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.(AG) 27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One(AH) who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?     a daughter against her mother,

37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.(AO) 38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.(AP) 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.(AQ)

40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me,(AR) and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.(AS) 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”(AT)

差遣十二使徒(A)

10 耶稣叫了十二门徒来,赐给他们胜过污灵的权柄,可以赶出污灵和医治各种疾病、各种病症。 十二使徒的名字如下:为首的是西门(又名彼得),西门的弟弟安得烈,西庇太的儿子雅各,雅各的弟弟约翰, 腓力,巴多罗迈,多马,税吏马太,亚勒腓的儿子雅各,达太, 激进派的西门,和出卖耶稣的加略人犹大。 耶稣差遣这十二个人出去,并且嘱咐他们:“外族人的路,你们不要走,撒玛利亚人的城,你们也不要进; 却要到以色列家的迷羊那里去。 你们要一边走一边宣扬说:‘天国近了。’ 要医治有病的,叫死人复活,洁净患痲风的,赶出污鬼。你们白白地得来,也应当白白地给人。 你们腰袋里不要带金、银、铜钱; 10 路上不要带行囊,也不要带两件衣裳,不要带鞋或手杖,因为作工的理当得到供应。 11 你们无论进哪一座城哪一个村,都要打听谁配接待你们,就住在那里,直到离去。 12 到他家里的时候,要向他们问安; 13 如果这家是配得的,你们的平安就必临到他们;如果这家不配得,你们的平安仍归你们。 14 如果有人不接待你们,不听你们的话,你们离开那一家那一城的时候,就要把脚上的灰尘跺下去。 15 我实在告诉你们,在审判的日子,所多玛和蛾摩拉所受的,比那城还轻呢。

使徒会遭受迫害(B)

16 “现在,我差派你们出去,好象羊进到狼群中间;所以你们要像蛇一样机警,像鸽子一样纯洁。 17 你们要小心,因为有人要把你们送交公议会,并要在会堂里鞭打你们; 18 你们为我的缘故,也要被带到统治者和君王面前,向他们和外族人作见证。 19 你们被捕的时候,用不着担心说甚么和怎么说,因为那时你们必得着当说的话; 20 因为说话的不是你们,而是你们的父的灵,是他在你们里面说话。 21 弟兄要出卖弟兄,父亲要出卖儿女,甚至把他们置于死地;儿女要悖逆父母,害死他们。 22 你们为我的名,要被众人恨恶,然而坚忍到底的必然得救。 23 如果有人在这城迫害你们,就逃到别的城去。我实在告诉你们,你们还没有走遍以色列的各城,人子就来到了。

24 “学生不能胜过老师,奴仆也不能胜过主人。 25 学生若能像老师一样,奴仆若能像主人一样,也就够了。如果一家之主也被称为别西卜(“别西卜”是鬼王的名字),何况他的家人呢?

应该怕谁(C)

26 “所以不要怕他们。没有甚么掩盖的事不被揭露,也没有甚么秘密是人不知道的。 27 我在暗处告诉你们的,你们要在明处讲出来;你们听见的耳语,要在房顶上宣扬出来。 28 那些杀身体却不能杀灵魂的,不要怕他们;倒要怕那位能把灵魂和身体都投入地狱里的。 29 两只麻雀不是卖一个大钱吗?但你们的父若不许可,一只也不会掉在地上。 30 甚至你们的头发都一一数过了。 31 所以不要怕,你们比许多麻雀贵重得多呢。

32 “凡在人面前承认我的,我在我天父面前也要承认他; 33 在人面前不认我的,我在我天父面前也要不认他。

作门徒的代价(D)

34 “你们不要以为我来了,是要给地上带来和平;我并没有带来和平,却带来刀剑, 35 因为我来了是要叫人分裂:

人与父亲作对,

女儿与母亲作对,

媳妇与婆婆作对,

36 人的仇敌就是自己的家人。

37 爱父母过于爱我的,不配作属我的;爱儿女过于爱我的,不配作属我的; 38 凡不背起自己的十字架来跟从我的,也不配作属我的。 39 顾惜自己生命的,必要丧掉生命;但为我牺牲生命的,必要得着生命。

得赏赐(E)

40 “接待你们的,就是接待我;接待我的,就是接待那差我来的。 41 因先知的名接待先知的,必得先知所得的赏赐;因义人的名接待义人的,必得义人所得的赏赐。 42 无论谁因门徒的名,只把一杯凉水给这些微不足道的人中的一个喝,我实在告诉你们,他决不会得不到他的赏赐。”

Ang Labindalawang Apostol(A)

10 Tinawag ni Jesus ang kanyang labindalawang alagad at binigyan sila ng kapangyarihang magpalayas ng maruruming espiritu at magpagaling ng lahat ng uri ng sakit at karamdaman. Narito ang mga pangalan ng labindalawang apostol: una ay si Simon, na tinaguriang Pedro, at si Andres na kanyang kapatid; si Santiago na anak ni Zebedeo, at ang kapatid niyang si Juan; sina Felipe at Bartolome; sina Tomas at Mateo na maniningil ng buwis; si Santiago na anak ni Alfeo, at si Tadeo; si Simon na Cananeo, at si Judas Iscariote, ang nagkanulo kay Jesus.

Isinugo ni Jesus ang Labindalawa(B)

Ang labindalawang ito ay sinugo ni Jesus at inatasan ng ganito, “Huwag kayong pupunta sa mga Hentil, ni papasok sa alinmang bayan ng mga Samaritano. Sa halip, puntahan ninyo ang mga nawawalang tupa sa sambahayan ng Israel. Sa inyong paghayo ay ipahayag ninyo: ‘Malapit nang dumating ang kaharian ng langit.’ Ang mga maysakit ay inyong pagalingin, ang mga patay ay inyong buhayin, ang mga ketongin ay inyong linisin, at ang mga demonyo ay inyong palayasin. Tinanggap ninyo nang walang bayad, ipamigay din ninyong walang bayad. Huwag kayong magdadala ng ginto, pilak o tanso sa inyong lalagyan ng salapi, 10 o kaya'y ng supot para sa inyong paglalakbay, o ng dalawang bihisan, o mga sandalyas, o tungkod, sapagkat may karapatan ang manggagawa sa kanyang pagkain. 11 At saanmang bayan o nayon kayo makarating, humanap kayo roon ng taong karapat-dapat. Makituloy kayo sa kanya hanggang sa inyong paglisan. 12 Pagpasok ninyo sa bahay, basbasan ninyo ito. 13 At kung karapat-dapat ang sambahayang iyon, igawad ninyo ang inyong basbas ng kapayapaan doon, subalit kung hindi ito karapat-dapat, bawiin ninyo ang basbas ng kapayapaang iginawad ninyo. 14 Kung mayroong hindi tumanggap sa inyo o ayaw makinig sa inyong mga salita, ipagpag ninyo ang alikabok na nasa inyong mga paa pag-alis ninyo sa bahay o bayang iyon. 15 Tinitiyak ko sa inyo, mas kaaawaan pa ang lupain ng Sodoma at Gomorra kaysa sa bayang iyon.

16 “Tandaan ninyo, isinusugo ko kayo na parang mga tupa sa gitna ng mga asong-gubat. Kaya't magpakatalino kayong gaya ng mga ahas at maging maamo gaya ng mga kalapati. 17 Mag-ingat kayo sa mga tao, sapagkat may mga magkakanulo sa inyo sa mga hukuman at hahagupit sa inyo sa kanilang mga sinagoga. 18 Dadakpin kayo at ihaharap sa mga tagapamahala at sa mga hari dahil sa akin, upang magbigay-patotoo sa kanila at sa mga Hentil. 19 Kapag kayo'y ipinadakip, huwag ninyong ipangamba kung paano kayo magsasalita o kung ano ang inyong sasabihin, sapagkat ang inyong sasabihin ay ibibigay sa inyo sa oras ding iyon. 20 Hindi na kayo ang nagsasalita, kundi ang Espiritu ng inyong Ama ang nagsasalita sa pamamagitan ninyo. 21 Magkakanulo ang kapatid sa kapatid upang ito'y ipapatay, pati ang ama sa kanyang anak, at maghihimagsik ang mga anak laban sa kanilang mga magulang, at kanilang ipapapatay ang mga ito. 22 Kamumuhian kayo ng lahat dahil sa aking pangalan. 24 “Ang mag-aaral ay hindi mas mataas kaysa kanyang guro, o ang alipin kaysa kanyang panginoon. 25 Sapat na para sa mag-aaral ang maging katulad ng kanyang guro at sa alipin ang maging katulad ng kanyang panginoon. Kung ang pinuno ng sambahayan ay tinawag nilang Beelzebul, higit nilang aalipustain ang kanyang mga kasambahay!

Ang Dapat Katakutan(D)

26 “Kaya't huwag kayong matakot sa kanila, sapagkat walang natatakpan na hindi malalantad, o kaya'y nakatago na hindi mabubunyag. 27 Kung may sinabi ako sa inyo sa dilim, sabihin ninyo sa liwanag. Kung may narinig kayong ibinulong, ipagsigawan ninyo sa ibabaw ng mga bahay. 28 At huwag kayong matakot sa mga pumapatay ng katawan, subalit walang kakayahang pumatay ng kaluluwa. Sa halip ay matakot kayo sa kanya na may kapangyarihang pumuksa ng kaluluwa at ng katawan sa impiyerno. 29 Hindi ba't nabibili ang dalawang maya sa isang kusing? Ngunit isa man sa kanila ay hindi nahuhulog sa lupa na hindi napapansin ng inyong Ama. 30 Pati nga ang mga buhok sa ulo ninyo ay biláng na lahat. 31 Huwag kayong matakot. Higit kayong mahalaga kaysa maraming maya.

Pagkilala kay Cristo(E)

32 “Kaya't sinumang kumikilala sa akin sa harapan ng mga tao ay siya ko ring kikilalanin sa harapan ng aking Amang nasa langit. 33 Ngunit sinumang sa akin ay magkaila sa harapan ng mga tao ay siya ring ipagkakaila ko sa harapan ng aking Amang nasa langit.

Hindi Kapayapaan kundi Tabak(F)

34 “Huwag ninyong akalaing dumating ako upang magdala ng kapayapaan sa lupa. Hindi ako dumating upang magdala ng kapayapaan, kundi ng tabak. 35 Dumating ako upang labanan ng isang lalaki ang kanyang ama, ng anak na babae ang kanyang ina, at ng manugang na babae ang kanyang biyenang babae. 36 Ang magiging kaaway ng tao ay mismong ang sarili niyang mga kasambahay. 37 Ang nagmamahal sa ama o sa ina nang higit kaysa akin ay hindi karapat-dapat sa akin; at ang nagmamahal sa anak na lalaki o babae nang higit kaysa akin ay hindi karapat-dapat sa akin. 38 Sinumang hindi nagpapasan ng kanyang krus at sumusunod sa akin ay hindi karapat-dapat sa akin. 39 Ang nagsisikap para sa kanyang buhay ay mawawalan nito, at ang mawalan ng kanyang buhay alang-alang sa akin ay makatatagpo nito.
