¹⁰ Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan!^(A) For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’^[a]”^(B)

¹³ Fear the Lord^(A) your God, serve him only^(B) and take your oaths^(C) in his name.^{(D) 14} Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you;

²⁰ Fear the Lord your God and serve him.^(A) Hold fast^(B) to him and take your oaths in his name.^(C)

¹⁴ “Now fear the Lord^(A) and serve him with all faithfulness.^(B) Throw away the gods^(C) your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt,^(D) and serve the Lord.

⁸ Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’^[a]”^(A)
