⁵¹ And he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded,

³⁹ And he awoke and ^(A)rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and ^(B)there was a great calm.

²¹ Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

²⁴ And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and ^(A)rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, ^(B)and there was a calm. ²⁵ He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they ^(C)were afraid, and they ^(D)marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that ^(E)he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?”

³⁷ And they were ^(A)astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

^32 (A)And they went away in ^(B)the boat to a desolate place by themselves.

⁴² And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

⁴¹ And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, ^(A)“Who then is this, that even ^(B)the wind and the sea obey him?”

¹² And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and ^(A)glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
