Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Ang Madinalag-on nga Pagsulod ni Jesus sa Jerusalem(A)
11 Sang malapit na sila ni Jesus sa Jerusalem kag nakaabot na sa mga baryo sang Betfage kag Betania, sa Bukid sang mga Olibo, ginpauna ni Jesus ang duha niya ka sumulunod kag 2 ginsilingan, “Mag-una kamo didto sa sunod nga baryo. Pagsulod ninyo, may makita kamo nga tinday nga asno nga nahigot. Wala pa gid ini masakyi. Hubari ninyo kag dal-a diri. 3 Kon may magpamangkot sa inyo, ‘Ngaa ginahimo ninyo ina?’ sabton ninyo, ‘Kinahanglan ini sang Ginoo kag iuli man ini dayon.’ ” 4 Gani naglakat sila, kag pag-abot nila didto sa baryo nakita nila ang tinday nga asno sa higad sang dalan nga nahigot sa puwertahan sang isa ka balay. Sang ginahubaran na nila ang asno, 5 ginpamangkot sila sang mga tawo nga nagatilindog didto, “Hoy, ano ang inyo ginahimo dira? Ngaa ginahubaran ninyo ang asno?” 6 Kag ginsabat nila ang mga tawo suno sa ginsiling ni Jesus. Gani ginpabay-an sila sang mga tawo. 7 Pagkatapos sadto gindala sang duha ka sumulunod ang asno kay Jesus. Pag-abot didto, ginhapinan nila ini sang ila mga panapton kag ginsakyan dayon ni Jesus. 8 Madamo nga mga tawo ang naghumlad sang ila mga panapton sa dalan, kag ang iban nagladlad sang mga sanga nga ila gintapas halin sa uma bilang pagpadungog kay Jesus. 9 Ang nagauna kay Jesus kag ang nagasunod nagasinggit, “Dayawon ta ang Dios! Ginapakamaayo sang Ginoo ang iya pinadala![a] [b] 10 Ginapakamaayo sang Dios ang palaabuton nga ginharian sang aton katigulangan nga si David! Dayawon ta ang Dios!”
11 Pag-abot ni Jesus sa Jerusalem, nagkadto siya sa templo. Nagpanan-aw tan-aw siya sa tanan nga butang didto. Pagkatapos, tungod nga madali na lang magsalop ang adlaw, nagguwa siya kag nagkadto sa Betania upod sa iya dose ka apostoles.
Ginpakamalaot ni Jesus ang Kahoy nga Higera(B)
12 Pagkaaga, sang paghalin nila sa Betania pabalik sa Jerusalem, gin-gutom si Jesus. 13 May nakita siya nga kahoy nga higera nga madabong ang dahon. Gani ginkadtuan niya kon may bunga. Pero wala siya sing may nakita nga bunga kundi puro lang dahon, kay indi pa ato tion nga inugpamunga. 14 Dayon nagsiling si Jesus sa higera, “Halin subong wala sing tawo nga makakaon sang imo bunga!” Nabatian sang iya mga sumulunod ang iya ginhambal.
Nagkadto si Jesus sa Templo(C)
15 Pag-abot nila sa Jerusalem, nagkadto si Jesus sa templo. Gintabog niya ang mga tawo nga nagapamakal kag nagabaligya didto. Ginpamaliskad niya ang mga lamisa sang mga manugbaylo sang kuwarta kag ang mga pulungkuan sang mga manugbaligya sang mga pating nga inughalad. 16 Indi siya magtugot nga manglaktod ang mga tawo sa templo nga nagadala sang ila mga inugbaligya. 17 Dayon gintudluan niya ang mga tawo didto sa templo. Siling niya, “Indi bala nga nagsiling ang Dios sa Kasulatan, ‘Ang akon balay tawgon nga balay nga palangamuyuan para sa tanan nga nasyon’?[c] Pero ginhimo ninyo nga palanaguan sang mga tulisan.”[d]
18 Ang ginhimo nga ato ni Jesus nabatian sang manugdumala nga mga pari kag sang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan. Gani nagpangita sila sang paagi agod patyon siya. Pero hinadlukan sila sa iya kay natingala gid ang mga tawo sa iya mga ginapanudlo.
19 Sang sirom na, nagguwa si Jesus kag ang iya mga sumulunod sa siyudad.

20 Pagkaaga, sang nagapabalik sila pa-Jerusalem, didto naman sila nag-agi sa kahoy nga higera, kag nakita nila nga nalaya ini kag patay na. 21 Nadumduman ni Pedro ang natabo. Gani nagsiling siya kay Jesus, “Manunudlo, tan-awa ang kahoy nga higera nga imo ginpakamalaot! Nalaya na!” 22 Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Magtuo kamo sa Dios! 23 Ang matuod, kon may pagtuo kamo, sarang kamo makasiling sa sini nga bukid, ‘Maghalin ka kag magsaylo sa dagat,’ kag kon wala kamo nagapangduhaduha kundi nagatuo nga ini matabo, matuman ina suno sa inyo ginhambal. 24 Gani ginasugiran ko kamo nga bisan ano ang inyo pangayuon sa Dios sa pangamuyo, magtuo kamo nga nabaton na ninyo, kag mabaton gid ninyo. 25 Kag kon nagapangamuyo kamo, patawara ninyo anay ang mga nakahimo sing sala sa inyo, agod ang inyo mga sala patawaron man sang inyo Amay nga ara sa langit. [26 Kay kon wala kamo nagapatawad sa iban, indi man kamo pagpatawaron sang inyo Amay nga ara sa langit.”]
Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Awtoridad ni Jesus(E)
27 Pag-abot nila sa Jerusalem, nagbalik si Jesus sa templo. Kag samtang nagalakat siya sa lagwerta sang templo, nagpalapit sa iya ang manugdumala nga mga pari, mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag mga manugdumala sang mga Judio. 28 Nagpamangkot sila kay Jesus, “Ano bala ang imo awtoridad sa paghimo sang mga butang nga imo ginahimo diri sa templo? Sin-o ang naghatag sa imo sang awtoridad sa paghimo sini?” 29 Nagsabat si Jesus sa ila, “Mamangkot man ako sa inyo. Sabton anay ninyo ako, pagkatapos sabton ko man kamo kon ano ang akon awtoridad sa paghimo sini nga mga butang. 30 Kay sin-o bala naghalin ang awtoridad ni Juan sa pagbautiso, sa Dios[e] bala ukon sa tawo? Sabta ninyo ako!” 31 Nagbinaisay sila kon ano ang ila isabat, “Kon magsiling kita nga halin sa Dios, masiling siya, ‘Ti ngaa wala kamo nagpati kay Juan?’ 32 Pero kon magsiling kita nga halin sa tawo, maakig sa aton ang mga tawo.” (Hinadlukan sila sa mga tawo kay nagapati ang mga tawo nga si Juan propeta sang Dios.) 33 Gani nagsabat sila kay Jesus, “Wala kami kahibalo.” Dayon nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Ti indi ko man kamo pagsugiran kon kay sin-o awtoridad ginahimo ko ini nga mga butang.”

The Triumphal Entry
11 And when they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples 2 and said to them, “Go into the village before you, and right away as you[a] enter into it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it.[b] 3 And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say[c] ‘The Lord has need of it, and will send it here again at once.’” 4 And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. 5 And some of those who were standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” 6 So they told them, just as Jesus had said, and they allowed them to take it.[d] 7 And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, and he sat on it. 8 And many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread[e] leafy branches they[f] had cut from the fields. 9 And those who went ahead and those who were following were shouting,
“Hosanna!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord![g]
10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!
Hosanna in the highest heaven!”[h]
11 And he went into Jerusalem to the temple, and after[i] looking around at everything, because[j] the hour was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
A Barren Fig Tree Cursed
12 And on the next day as[k] they were departing from Bethany, he was hungry. 13 And when he[l] saw from a distance a fig tree that had leaves, he went to see if perhaps he would find anything on it. And when he[m] came up to it he found nothing except leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 And he responded and[n] said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you any more forever!”[o] And his disciples heard it.[p]
The Cleansing of the Temple
15 And they came to Jerusalem. And he entered into the temple courts[q] and[r] began to drive out those who were selling and those who were buying in the temple courts,[s] and overturned the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who were selling doves. 16 And he did not permit anyone to carry objects[t] through the temple courts.[u] 17 And he began to teach[v] and was saying to them, “Is it not written,
‘My house will be called a house of prayer
for all the nations,’[w]
but you have made it a cave of robbers!” 18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it,[x] and began considering[y] how they could destroy him. For they were afraid of him because the whole crowd was astounded by his teaching. 19 And when evening came they went out of the city.
The Barren Fig Tree Withered
20 And as they[z] passed by early in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 And Peter remembered and[aa] said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered!” 22 And Jesus answered and[ab] said to them, “Have faith in God! 23 Truly I say to you that whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I say to you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it,[ac] and it will be done for you. 25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him,[ad] so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your sins.”[ae]
Jesus’ Authority Challenged
27 And they came again to Jerusalem. And as[af] he was walking in the temple courts,[ag] the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came up to him 28 and said to him, “By what authority are you doing these things, or who gave you this authority that you do these things?” 29 So Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 30 The baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men? Answer me!” 31 And they began to discuss[ah] this[ai] with one another, saying, “What should we say?[aj] If we say ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 32 But if we say, ‘From men’”—they were afraid of the crowd, because they all looked upon John as truly a prophet.[ak] 33 And they replied to Jesus saying, “We do not know.” And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
