Luc 10:38-42
Beibl William Morgan
38 A bu, a hwy yn ymdeithio, ddyfod ohono i ryw dref: a rhyw wraig, a’i henw Martha, a’i derbyniodd ef i’w thŷ. 39 Ac i hon yr oedd chwaer a elwid Mair, yr hon hefyd a eisteddodd wrth draed yr Iesu, ac a wrandawodd ar ei ymadrodd ef. 40 Ond Martha oedd drafferthus ynghylch llawer o wasanaeth: a chan sefyll gerllaw, hi a ddywedodd, Arglwydd, onid oes ofal gennyt am i’m chwaer fy ngadael i fy hun i wasanaethu? dywed wrthi gan hynny am fy helpio. 41 A’r Iesu a atebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthi, Martha, Martha, gofalus a thrafferthus wyt ynghylch llawer o bethau: 42 Eithr un peth sydd angenrheidiol: a Mair a ddewisodd y rhan dda, yr hon ni ddygir oddi arni.

At the Home of Martha and Mary
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha(A) opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary,(B) who sat at the Lord’s feet(C) listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care(D) that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried(E) and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a](F) Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

19 A llawer o’r Iddewon a ddaethent a Martha a Mair, i’w cysuro hwy am eu brawd. 20 Yna Martha, cyn gynted ag y clybu hi fod yr Iesu yn dyfod, a aeth i’w gyfarfod ef: ond Mair a eisteddodd yn y tŷ. 21 Yna y dywedodd Martha wrth yr Iesu, Arglwydd, pe buasit ti yma, ni buasai farw fy mrawd. 22 Eithr mi a wn hefyd yr awron, pa bethau bynnag a ddymunech di gan Dduw, y dyry Duw i ti. 23 Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrthi, Atgyfodir dy frawd drachefn. 24 Dywedodd Martha wrtho, Myfi a wn yr atgyfodir ef yn yr atgyfodiad, y dydd diwethaf. 25 Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrthi, Myfi yw’r atgyfodiad, a’r bywyd: yr hwn sydd yn credu ynof fi, er iddo farw, a fydd byw: 26 A phwy bynnag sydd yn fyw, ac yn credu ynof fi, ni bydd marw yn dragywydd. A wyt ti’n credu hyn? 27 Dywedodd hithau wrtho, Ydwyf, Arglwydd: yr wyf fi yn credu mai ti yw’r Crist, Mab Duw, yr hwn sydd yn dyfod i’r byd. 28 Ac wedi iddi ddywedyd y pethau hyn, hi a aeth ymaith, ac a alwodd yn ddirgel ei chwaer Mair, gan ddywedyd, Fe ddaeth yr Athro, ac y mae yn galw amdanat.

27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah,(L) the Son of God,(M) who is to come into the world.”(N)
28 After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. “The Teacher(O) is here,” she said, “and is asking for you.”
