²⁴L'Éternel est mon partage, dit mon âme; C'est pourquoi je veux espérer en lui.

²⁵L'Éternel a de la bonté pour qui espère en lui, Pour l'âme qui le cherche.

²⁶Il est bon d'attendre en silence Le secours de l'Éternel.

²⁴I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;^(A)
therefore I will wait for him.”

²⁵The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;^(B)
²⁶it is good to wait quietly^(C)
for the salvation of the Lord.^(D)
