¹⁴ And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua ^(A)fell on his face to the earth and worshiped^[a] and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?”

³ Then Abram ^(A)fell on his face. And God said to him,

²⁵ When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and ^(A)fell down at his feet and ^(B)worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, ^(C)“Stand up; I too am a man.”

Conquest of Canaan Promised

^20 (A)“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. ²¹ Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; ^(B)do not rebel against him, ^(C)for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.

²² “But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then ^(D)I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

¹⁰ Then ^(A)I fell down at his feet to worship him, ^(B)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to ^(C)the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Rider on a White Horse

¹¹ Then I saw ^(D)heaven opened, and behold, ^(E)a white horse! The one sitting on it is called ^(F)Faithful and True, and ^(G)in righteousness he judges and makes war. ^12 (H)His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are ^(I)many diadems, and he has ^(J)a name written that no one knows but himself. ¹³ He is clothed in ^(K)a robe dipped in^[a] blood, and the name by which he is called is ^(L)The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies of heaven, ^(M)arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, ^(N)were following him on white horses.
