¹³ However, when He, ^(A)the Spirit of truth, has come, ^(B)He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Sixth Trumpet: The Angels from the Euphrates

¹³ Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the ^(A)golden altar which is before God,

¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound ^(A)at the great river Euphrates.”

Sixth Bowl: Euphrates Dried Up

¹² Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl ^(A)on the great river Euphrates, ^(B)and its water was dried up, ^(C)so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.

The Two Witnesses

11 Then I was given ^(A)a reed like a measuring rod. ^[a]And the angel stood, saying, ^(B)“Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. ² But leave out ^(C)the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, ^(D)for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will ^(E)tread the holy city underfoot for ^(F)forty-two months. ³ And I will give power to my two ^(G)witnesses, ^(H)and they will prophesy ^(I)one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

¹¹ Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming ^[a]first and will ^(A)restore all things.
