^11 (A)concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world ^(B)is judged.

^31 (A)Now is the judgment of this world; now will ^(B)the ruler of this world ^(C)be cast out.

^8 (A)Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was ^(B)to destroy the works of the devil.

¹⁴ Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise ^(A)partook of the same things, that ^(B)through death he might ^(C)destroy ^(D)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

^15 (A)He disarmed the rulers and authorities^[a] and ^(B)put them to open shame, by ^(C)triumphing over them in him.^[b]

⁴ In their case ^(A)the god of this world ^(B)has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing ^(C)the light of ^(D)the gospel of the glory of Christ, ^(E)who is the image of God.

³⁰ I will no longer talk much with you, for ^(A)the ruler of this world is coming. ^(B)He has no claim on me,

¹⁰ and the devil ^(A)who had deceived them was ^(B)thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where ^(C)the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence ^(D)earth and sky fled away, and ^(E)no place was found for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and ^(F)books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is ^(G)the book of life. And ^(H)the dead were judged by what was written in the books, ^(I)according to what they had done. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, ^(J)Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, ^(K)according to what they had done. ¹⁴ Then ^(L)Death and Hades ^(M)were thrown into the lake of fire. This is ^(N)the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, ^(O)he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Satan Thrown Down to Earth

⁷ Now war arose in heaven, ^(A)Michael and ^(B)his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, ⁸ but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. ⁹ And ^(C)the great dragon was thrown down, ^(D)that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, ^(E)the deceiver of the whole world—^(F)he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now ^(G)the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers^[a] has been thrown down, ^(H)who accuses them day and night before our God.
