²⁰ Remember the word that I said to you: ^(A)‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, ^(B)they will also persecute you. ^(C)If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

¹² Indeed, all who desire to ^(A)live a godly life in Christ Jesus ^(B)will be persecuted,

¹⁶ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)a servant^[a] is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.

^24 (A)“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant^[a] above his master.

⁹ persecuted, but ^(A)not forsaken; ^(B)struck down, but not destroyed;

¹² and we ^(A)labor, working with our own hands. ^(B)When reviled, we bless; ^(C)when persecuted, we endure;

^7 (A)But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel ^(B)have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

^15 (A)who killed both the Lord Jesus and ^(B)the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and ^(C)oppose all mankind

²⁷ for truly in this city there were gathered together against your ^(A)holy servant Jesus, ^(B)whom you anointed, both ^(C)Herod and ^(D)Pontius Pilate, along ^(E)with the Gentiles and ^(F)the peoples of Israel, ^28 (G)to do whatever your hand and ^(H)your plan had predestined to take place. ²⁹ And now, Lord, ^(I)look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all ^(J)boldness, ³⁰ while ^(K)you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed ^(L)through the name of your ^(M)holy servant Jesus.”
