Job 31:4-8

New International Version

⁴ Does he not see my ways^(A)
    and count my every step?^(B)

⁵ “If I have walked with falsehood
    or my foot has hurried after deceit^(C)—
⁶ let God weigh me^(D) in honest scales^(E)
    and he will know that I am blameless^(F)—
⁷ if my steps have turned from the path,^(G)
    if my heart has been led by my eyes,
    or if my hands^(H) have been defiled,^(I)
8 then may others eat what I have sown,^(J)
    and may my crops be uprooted.^(K)
