⁸ For thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Do not let your ^(A)prophets who are in your midst and your diviners ^(B)deceive you, and do not listen to ^(C)your dreams which you dream.

¹⁰ and to another the workings of ^(A)miracles, and to another ^(B)prophecy, and to another the ^[a](C)distinguishing of spirits, to someone else various ^(D)kinds of tongues, and to another the ^[b](E)translation of tongues.

²⁰ do not despise ^(A)prophecies, ²¹ but ^(B)examine all things; ^(C)hold fast to that which is good; ²² abstain from every ^[a]form of evil.

²³ Now ^(D)may the God of peace ^(E)Himself sanctify you entirely, and may your ^(F)spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, ^(G)without blame at ^(H)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^24 (I)Faithful is He who ^(J)calls you, who also will do it.

^26 (L)Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss. ²⁷ I implore you by the Lord to ^(M)have this letter read to all the ^(N)brothers.
